My whole family went to celebrate my daughters second birthday and my nephews birthday. There were 9 adults and 7 kids. Some friends of my sister in laws also came. (2 more adults and 3 kids) We went in knowing cost etc.
Pros: the water park was clean. I liked how many lifeguards were present. The staff in the restaurant was very nice. They sang happy birthday and gave us all ears and tails. It was worth staying one night but we had done all the rides within a hour. I can not see staying more then one night.
CONS: first off we get there and find out all of us are on different floors. Not close at all. Then I could not find a luggage cart. 10 mins later I located one and couldn't get on the elevator. I waited 3 times and it was always full. So I decided to go down the stairs. Passed 3 employees, none offered to help. As it is a indoor water park the carpets in the halls were gross. I told them when I made reservations I had a elderly person with me but yet the put us on the top floor pretty far from elevators. I would recommend if you are traveling with some one of age or disability that you request especially a room close to elevators.
Overall: we may go back once our 2 year old gets older. However we prefer water country. Lots more to do and my 6 year prefers it more.

Just came back from the Great Wolf Lodge. Went with a total of 3 adults, a 7 year old and a 2 year old. The resort was clean, well kept up and a great overall apperance. We had a family suite and it was clean and perfect for our needs. The life guards were amazing! Very attentive and that was important. Some of the other staff was not overly friendly which was a dissapointment since it is all about the kids here. Story hour and face painting was great. We wil visit again!

We stayed in this hotel as a multigenerational family of 8 split between two 2 bedroom suites on a Living Social deal. Arriving midday Sunday was hectic, check in was busy and the water park was swarming with people. It was even difficult to navigate the lobby. Had lunch at the main restaurant off the lobby which was reasonable ($12 for wok bar and salad bar together) and tasty. Service in restaurant was great.
Rooms were a pleasant surprise; I was turned off after reading previous reviews about filthy dirty rooms and dead insects. Those reviewers must have been in a different part of the hotel (we were in rooms 2007 and 2008 on the main floor). Our rooms were very clean and updated nicely. One bedroom had queen bed and en suite bathroom. Other bedroom had two queens but no window. The kids loved the sleeper sofa. There was a very nice bathroom off the main entrance. Microwave and fridge in the rooms were a nice touch. Room also had a balcony.
The water park was a lot of fun. It was hard to find seats/tables on our first night even though we went down after 6pm (closes at 9pm). But it was a sunday so we figured that was the reason for the busyness. The next day was much lighter even though it was a holiday (veterans day) and we were able to easily find a place to set up when we arrived at the park around 2pm. Water park was A LOT of fun. Life jackets provided in all sizes (especially helpful for our fearless 4 and 5 yr olds) and plenty of life guards around to make you feel safe. All the rides are well kept and a lot of fun. It helped that there were barely any lines when we went on Monday; we were able to ride all of the slides repeatedly. Most of the slides are appropriate for all ages (42" and up) so we had a lot of fun as a family. We didn't even get to the arcade ("mommy, it looks like chuck e cheese!!!") or the miniature golfing and other entertainment options.
Hotel is literally one minute away from a shopping center with a Walmart, IHOP (our breakfast choice), and multiple fast food options.
Was a fun trip for the discounted cost. Definitely family oriented. Wouldn't stay for more than one or two nights though...

This is always a big hit with the kids. There are tons of fun things to do here and the staff is very kid-friendly and family focused. The only downside is trying to get some decent food while here. We recommend eating all meals off the premises if you are able to. We even prefer driving over to Walmart and buying sandwich fixings to trying to eat here.
