For a timeshare, I could not imagine investing my money into a place that advertises a fireplace, when in reality you get a rotating lightbulb flame that fails to emit any heat. I was looking forward to relaxing on a comfortable couch in front of a warm fireplace during one of the last cold weekends. While the room was newly renovated & fairly clean, the couch was old & lumpy and the fireplace would never in a thousand years be described as warm.
The resort also boasted about its 4 pools. I expected that for such a large resort, they would be able to designate 1 of the pools to adults. It's hard to relax & enjoy a weekend away with screaming children everywhere. I'm not sure what the attraction to this resort is for older golfing couples. It wouldn't hurt the resort to distinguish the families with children from the reservations without and separate them to different sides of the resort; there was plenty of space for it. It would have been nice to not have been woken to rowdy children yelling outside the window.
While, it was nice to have 2 bedrooms & plenty of space for a party of 3, it was disappointing to find that the TV & cable box failed to work in the 1 bedroom. IT wasn't that it wasn't set up properly, the box was full on broken... Shouldnt they check these things before renting out a room?
Lastly, it was nice to have a full kitchen with all necessary items, but annoying to not have any soap to clean the items used. If staying longer than a weekend, I can understand being requested to bring your own, but when utilizing the place as a hotel and not a timeshare, dish soap would have been a nice thought. I would have asked the cleaning service for some, but they were no where to be found to even ask for such a thing.

Our front desk and maintenance staff would have been more than happy to look into, fix and/ or replace any malfunction that arose from your room such as, the fireplace or cable box receiver. We apologize that these repair needs went unreported and were not addressed prior to your arrival. For your cleaning needs, dish soap is supplied in every unit. This omission will be addressed with our housekeeping staff to improve in our consistency in these areas. There is no shortage of reasons why our pools are great for families; however, horseplay, running and other such disruptive behaviors are not allowed in the pool area to promote safety, and equal enjoyment of the facilities. If you are willing to give us another chance, we are extremely confident that your next stay with us will be much more enjoyable and even exceed your expectations.
