We are a family of four and arrived on a Friday early and were given what we figured was probably the worst room in the hotel at first, room 211 (see our tip). Before we even went in the room we asked for another room. And since we were meeting friends we asked for a room that we could have as adjoining rooms. Staff was nice enough, and accommodated us with no questions asked. Our new room was a little dirty - crumbs on the couch and coffee table needed a good wiping down. The room was quiet and the beds are comfortable but really high which always scares us a little with our small children who still roll dangerously close to the edges of the bed. For a newer hotel the couches seem a bit well used or maybe they are just not very high quality. The pool was nice, we were two families and had the whole thing to ourselves for about an hour in the late afternoon. Overall, next time we come to Williamsburg, we will probably look around for a different hotel.
