“Relaxing and wonderful”

Bonnie the innkeeper made the difference in making this trip from ok...to amazing. The room on the first floor was darling. The charm of the Bed and Breakfast was delightful.
The Room was spotless, bathroom spotless and she irons the sheets.
We felt as though we were royalty when we were there.
The other really great thing about Bonnie is she loves Colonial Williamsburg. So positive about everything that goes on there.
I also learned if she does not mention a place...do not go there. We learned our lesson the hard way.
The people make the experience and thank you Bonnie for ours

Room Tip: it does not have a fitness center but could not figure out how to unmark it.

This great little B&B is located right in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg. I own a B&B and chose this one for its colonial charm, and the great price for my entire family: we had three bedrooms and a bath for the price of one boring motel room. Little did I realize that the real charm was Bonnie, the owner. She was warm, funny, and charming. Her personalized breakfasts each morning were scrumptous. She made sure we were welcomed in the true spirit of Innkeeping, my girls even wanted to adopt her. On Easter morning Bonnie left little easter buckets full of goodies for the 3 girls and even wound up joining us for Easter service at Bruton Church. On our travels through Colonial Williamsburg we mentioned Bonnie and the great time we had, wouldn't you know it they knew her, after all she does play Martha Washington! Oh and by the way the rooms are great, the furniture was beautiful, and the linens so clean and crisp, Bonnie said she IRONS the sheets and pillowcases, and you can tell it too! Thank you Bonnie from this old Innkeeper.

The Washington Suite on first floor was beautifully done. Antique bed was a bit small (smaller than a Queen). Hostess could not be there, only talked on phone. Went to local restaurant for breakfast ("Order whatever you want"), but surprised to find at end that there was a dollar limit, so paid almost half after ordering what we normally would have expected at a B&B. Negotiated a rebate, but shouldn't have had to. Location was about a mile from downtown, convenient to most attractions. Overall a very nice weekend. Price seemed a bit high compared with name hotels in area.

Room Tip: Preferred Washington Suite, on first floor with separate entrance.
