“Do not go in mid August!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2010

Busch Gardens is a wonderful family amusement park. They've got tons of great, thrilling rides, plenty of family fun activities. It's an amusement park. You know what to expect. What you might not expect is their animal exhibits.

Busch Gardens is home to a group of Bald Eagles that have been rescued. They are unable to return to the wild, so Busch Gardens is their permanent home. They also have Grey Wolves and Clydesdales.

Summer is of course that time of year when most people have time to get out to the amusement parks. I had been to Busch Gardens once before - in late spring. In August it's absolutely dreadful at Busch Gardens. They're not forgiving when it comes to heat. It was very crowded, and it was very hot. There weren't many places to get away from the heat aside from the rides. Busch Gardens is much better in late spring - go between May and July.

“Fun for all”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2010

Visited during "ChristmasTown". Not many rides open because of the weather, but did get to ride some. Also enjoyed live music (singing & instrumental), shopping, decorations, and the food.

“Christmas Town”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2009

I was torn with this review. I liked the Christmas Shows and display's of the lights, but thought more rides would be open. We were told the Coasters need to be operating in weather above 43 degrees. We waited for the nicest day of the week to go there, and the temperature was above 45 and they still didn't open the Coasters. We felt that the park was only open for another 4 days, and they didn't even have the cars on the tract, to make an attempt to open the ride. I traveled very far to ride the coasters, and never go to do it.

The family recently went to Busch Gardens Christmas Town and it was enchanting. The shows we saw were terrific and the lights delightful. We are recommending all our friends take the time to see this.

“clean, friendly staff, loads of fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2009

Received group discount directly at the park, did not need to prepurchase. Went the end of august and the park wasempty. No long lines, nice temps. Food in park fairly reasonable and good.
