We have stayed at other places in Williamsburg over the years and found this Hampton Inn on Bypass Road to be the best value for money so far. Granted our one night stay was mid-week in April, but the last minute reservation yielded us a king bedroom suite overlooking the trees behind the hotel at the end of the corridor on the 4th floor. It was a spacious room with kitchenette, wash basin conveniently separated from toilet and shower and everything in perfect working order. I was impressed at breakfast that although service was supposed to conclude at 10.00am they were still filling the buffet at 9.55am. My request for bananas was granted cheerfully and efficiently. Indeed all the staff were friendly, although I was a bit surprised as we were checking in to hear the receptionist telling two out of state guests that the Williamsburg Pottery is the main attraction in the area!!
