Our recent stay at Bentley Manor Inn could not have been better. I actually am very picky and spend quite a bit of time researching accommodations and I was not disappointed. We stayed for 4 nights and it just kept getting better and feeling more and more like home with Fred and Jane's gracious hospitality. They are pro's at serving incredible breakfast that causes one to have trouble deciding what to choose. Jane's seasonal selections are well thought out and delicious. I appreciated her going the extra mile with extra thought. Fred is great at assisting with check-in, the days plans, breakfast, and anything else one might need. We slept in Captain John Smith's room and the linens and towels were great quality, the bed was comfortable and the exceptionally clean. We highly recommend this owner owned inn.

We would highly recommend the Bentley Manor Inn. A beautiful home, this B&B is efficiently and lovingly maintained by Fred and Jane. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds, fine linens and towels, and the house is immaculate throughout. Fred and Jane are the perfect host and hostess who are only too willing to accommodate your needs. The Inn is located on a quiet street, affording one a good night’s sleep, but close to major attractions in Williamsburg, well within walking distance. The breakfasts were delicious with plenty of choice, and we especially enjoyed meeting people around the table. We very much enjoyed and appreciated our stay at Bentley Manor Inn. You cannot go wrong if you stay here!

Jane and Fred Garland made us feel like we were coming-home to our parents' homes on our first visit to Bentley Manor Inn. We stayed in the Thomas Jefferson Room which was very comfortable, impeccably clean, and well appointed. They equipped us with maps of Williamsburg attractions and dining establishments that we immediately made use of. After a very restful night, we joined two other couples at the large diningroom table for a breakfast feast of fresh fruit salad and juices, omletts, sausage and french toast that would make our moms jealous. We intend to return to Williamsburg with Bentley Manor Inn as our destination point.

My husband and I stayed at Bentley Manor Inn from Tuesday through Thursday, October 23-26. My husband had a conference in Washington DC, which started the following Sunday. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. All the rooms had attached baths, however, ours had been recently remodeled and was extra nice. During our stay, we visited Colonial Williamsburg, which was about one-half mile away. This was a very easy walk. Upon our arrival, our host, Fred, showed us maps of the area and helped figure out where we were in relation to Colonial Williamsburg. The breakfasts were wonderful. Jane is an outstanding cook! Fred is an outstanding host. Both were very friendly and helpful
