We have stayed at Colonial Williamsburg's colonial homes a number of times since 1971 and have never been disappointed. We always ask for the Brickhouse Tavern, which is ideally located on the Duke of Glouester Street, right in the middle of the historic area. You step out the door and into history. Halfway between the Capital and the Governor's Palace you are close to Revolutionary City activities at the Raleigh Tavern. Dining is nearby. You wont need a car.
