Arrived Saturday evening, registered with a very polite and efficient clerk. (I think her name was Brenda) Before we barely finished, Shaunessy Coles was there to help us with our luggage and get us in our room, where she explained some of the attractions of the resort and the area. Also gave us a detailed sheet of where the most useful places were,as well as the attractions. Very, very useful during our week stay! The beds are very comfortable, but we had a studio, and there are no regular chairs. Since I have trouble sleeping in a flat bed (I use an adjustable at home), I asked if I could get a upholstered chair. It arrived within a half hour. Nick brought it and was very patient and helpful while I decided the best place to place it. We also checked out the activities room, where they have crafts and things to do. Joan was the person there, very nice and very helpful. Also, later in our stay, our vehicle was acting up so I stopped by the front desk for suggestions on where a car place was nearby. Nick and Brynn (?) both started searching the computer for directions and addresses. We had no trouble finding a place the next morning. Our room was small, we had a studio. But we had a full frig and stovetop and sink. And the shower was gigantic, with a very large shower head. I think I got spoiled. Also, there is a lounge in the main building, open 24/7, with very comfortable furniture and a beautiful fireplace. I have to say I was very impressed with the friendliness of all the staff, and the graciousness of everyone. I know we are in the South, but this place gives real meaning to Southern hospitality. We were actually going to try to sell our timeshare while we were there this year, but were so impressed, we upgraded. Even though we only live 2 hours away, we may stay there again, but we definitely are looking forward to staying at some of the larger resorts. Oh, we have owned this for 6 years, but never stayed and never really understood how this worked. Thanks to Shaunessy, we now understand what we can do as owners.
