“Extended stay great staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW

I started my stay at the end of August and departed in November. I found all the staff pleasant and helpful. Offering ideas on where to eat places to visit as well as making me feel very comfortable away from home.
Even have a notary on hand which came in quite handy. Most importantly felt safe as I was traveling alone. Would recommend this hotel to others and if I am back in the area would plan on staying.
A special thanks to Marci, Mario, and Georgia keep on smiling.

Stayed August 2014, traveled on business

Once we found the place (the sign was small and almost invisible at night) we were very pleasantly surprised. The lobby is open and bright, all the staff (front desk, cleaning, kitchen) were always super helpful, the rooms were exactly what we needed -- and we loved that there was a hairdryer AND a shaving mirror! And the hot breakfast was delicious, with fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, four different kinds of juice, and all the other fixings. All together a great place to stay.

In our first room, shower rod was falling off the wall. The maintenance man was great - as he was going to fix it - He then came right with us to fix the door lock /guard thing that was also falling off the door jam in the second room.
Breakfast was great - even homemade pancakes one morning.
Has "outside doors" to rooms. It contributes to a feeling of being insecure for women traveling alone and quite frankly we put our coffee table up against the door after the door lock incident.
Staff was great - friendly and efficient. but more care should be taken with maintenance.
Price was very affordable. Would be nice when pool is open.

Room Tip: There is a train that goes by but that would impact all close hotels.

The location is a bit far from the historic area, but very convenient to the outlet mall.

The hotel has been nicely renovated. The lobby and breakfast area are especially attractive.

The room had nice, comfortable bedding and a refrigerator. The bathroom was large, with a nice floor-length mirror. My only complaint is that there could have been more towels. There were 2 washcloths, 1 hand towel, and 2 not terribly large bath towels.

The complimentary breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage links and patties, hash brown potatoes, toast, cereals, donuts, yogurt, apples, juices, coffee, tea, milk. Best of all- they provided real china plates and heavy-weight silverware! That made the breakfast feel special!

Room Tip: There is a train track in front, across the street. While there are only a few trains per day, a ro...

Very clean and well maintained room. Linens fresh and new. Excellent breakfast on china every morning. Chair with ottoman, table with 2 chairs and a very comfy bed. Elevator looked like it had done battle and lost with the cleaning carts, but everything else was perfect. Wonderful staff including the chef!

Room Tip: We were on the 3rd floor, and it was extremely quiet.

The price is right if you look for a deal. They have clean rooms that are comfortable. Unfortunately it appears the cleaning staff is rough because the elevator is how's severe wear marks at the height of the baskets that they use.

There is a great breakfast buffet with cereal, fruit and several protein choices.

The only real drawback is that the railroad tracks into Williamsburg are just across the street and that it is relativity far away from the historic areas. The train runs until just after 9 PM and starts again a little after 7 AM.

Room Tip: Get a room as far back from the road as possible to minimize the train noise.

We needed a reasonable place for a few days as we visited a friend who is having some health problems. The price and location were good for our needs. Did not really expect a high end experience but was pleasantly surprised. Evidently this property recently changed owners. There have been room updates recently for sure: carpet, bedding, lamps bathroom counters and tub surround. There is room for more updates as some of the furniture is showing wear and tear, but overall the atmosphere is pleasant. In busy season, should they be at capacity, I can see where parking may be a challenge. Once you are past the lobby entrance, the exterior is the actually the least attractive feature of this property, but don't let it discourage you. The free breakfast was a big surprise - it was a full, hot breakfast complete with scrambled eggs, sausages, french toast one day and sausage gravy & biscuits another, fruit, yogurt, cereal, donuts, breads and muffins, juice and, of course, coffee and tea. The area was kept clean and there was adequate seating. A flat screen TV let you catch up on the news while having breakfast. Several copies of the local newspaper were also available at the front desk. In the lobby area, there were two in house computers and printers available for guests to use. Wi-Fi is available but it is slow and insecure. Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful. I saw a sign for a pool but did not check it out as it was rainy & cool and our time was needed elsewhere - this was not a vacation trip.

Room Tip: Get to the back if you can. A train comes through across the road and you don't hear it in the...
