This is the second time we have stayed there and we looked forward to it. Unfortunatley we stayed right when Sandy hit. But it did not dampen our time there. The Marriott people were well prepared. They gave us flash lights water and glow sticks. They also had a generator andf kept us up dated at all times. Although we did not get to go on our Washington D C trip we did go to Monticello and saw the Jefferson house and it was grand. The hotel is one of the nices I think we have stayed at. The beds are great, soaking tubs, fireplace, full kitchen and activities were wonderful. It puts you in the heart of all there is to see historically and there is no waiting for help from the front dest. They have a great crew.
