“Good value for a basic hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Stayed here in connection with a soccer tournament. Good exercise room, large, clean room and friendly staff. The room heat was turned super high when I arrived -- no word had arrived yet about global warming, apparently. Breakfast for dieters is subpar, but a restaurant at the edge of the parking lot offers more choices at its extensive buffet. Yogurt is full of corn syrup, coffee not so great. Weird eggs all shaped like hamburger patties without flavor... Good reading lights in bedroom. Shower needed those sticky strips to prevent slipping. Bed very comfortable. TV goes right to channels without those awful ads some hotels have or the hard sell to buy pay movies. Free coffee, tea or hot chocolate 24 hours, but no herbal tea.

Room Tip: First and second floors have the ice machines.

Stayed here forbade soccer tournament. They rooms were cheap so I didn't know what to expect. It is located behind Cracker Barrel so you can't see it from the road. It looks nice from the outside and checked in with a very friendly desk person. The rooms were very clean and it made me feel at ease. Nothing fancy but plenty of room in there. Nice sized shower. Breakfast was good. Loved the mini waffles! When you want to go somewhere there is a traffic signal so it makes it easy to get onto Bypass Road. Great hotel at a great price!

This is a well maintained, clean motel with an excellent price (at least in December). Our room was a little small mainly because the shower extends out into the room. Breakfast was average but the waffles were very good. It is nicely located half-way between historic Williamsburg and the outlet stores. The hallways and eating area are very clean. The building sits back about 100 yards from bypass road and it was very quiet at night. I can highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a budget place in Williamsburg.

We only stayed one night and were pleasantly surprised at the quality. Overall very good, no problems; And a very good location for visting Colonial Williamsburg. The room was quiet and clean, and breakfast was good. what else do you need for the price?

This hotel is very convenient for sightseeing Colonia Willamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown, and pretty good for Busch Gardens. Room was clean and comfortable. Pretty good complementary breakfast, but really hard boiled eggs? With sausage? The biggest issue and the reason this didn't get a five was the housekeeping staff. Being ecologically inclined my wife and I always put the "do not disturb" sign on our door. This was no exception, but the housekeeper apparently had other ideas. Now had they made up the whole room that would have been bad, but they took the two towels that we had used, and the floor map for outside the shower, and then didn't replace them. The Front Desk clerk seemed upset by the break in protocol, and said the housekeeper would be talked to, but funny part is I don't think I ever gave him our room number. Perhaps this isn't unusual?

Room Tip: Ground floor is good, but get one numbered above 118 or so.

The Sleep Inn is not on the frontage of the road but is offset behind the Golden Corral The desk people are very helpful and was able to provide us excellent directions to local sites the first night we were there. Also there are number of maps and guides outside the lobby that are worth getting as they help plan your day.
Our room was large. The bed was hard and not very comfortable, but the room was clean. Our maid kept shorting us linens each day, one day it was no bathmat, another hand towels, another face clothes.
The hot breakfast was so-so with breads, cereals, sausage patties and coffee. Next door is a Cracker Barrel if you want to spend the money as well as the Golden Corral which has a big breakfast bar on the weekends.
The hotel is a little old, but our stay was nice. We probably would stay there again.

The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. It was very close to historic Williamsburg and shopping. It was perfect for our girls weekend. We had 2 queen beds for the four of us. There was no fridge and no microwave, but everything else was normal in a standard hotel room.
