“Lovely Brunch!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

Received a gift card, and went one Sunday morning for brunch with my spouse. The grounds were delightful and the food was interesting and delicious. Mostly standard brunch fare, extremely well executed. A delightful drive and worth every penny!

“Great food, great place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

The Blue Rock Inn looks like an old country farmhouse as you pull up, but the interior diningroom (where we ate), as well as the outside patio areas are upscale, pleasant, and clean without losing their "inn" charm. They have large windows across the length of the restaurant to take advantage of the beautiful views. The food was wonderful, but we learned after the fact that they have a reputation for slow and sometimes "uppity" servers. Our server was a very pleasant, polite lady but overall our meal was very slow. We also waited in the lobby for at least 10 minutes before anyone even asked what we were doing there. The quality of the food and atmosphere makes this place worthwhile. Just be sure to allow extra time and plan for a leisurely meal.

“Excellent meal and view!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013

We loved our dinner out on the patio. The view of the mountains and frolicking horses was magnificent.

“Amazingly Done!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

All I can say is "WOW!" I have lived within 10 minutes of this restaurant my entire life, why have I never been?! It is easy to say that it is the best meal that I have ever had and my boyfriend felt the same way. The food was impressively unique and beautifully done. The view was gorgeous. The dining room was cozy, relaxed, and intimate. The service was very attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. The price was definitely not outrageous for how fantastic everything was. It was certainly worth every penny! I would highly recommend!

“Wonderful setting, marginal service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

The locale is enchanting, and the food can be quite tasty, but the staff (on many occasions) has acted as though one should feel privileged to dine there. This is not the way to attract return customers.
