“Great food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

Frequently eat at the Iron Bridge in Warrenton. The food is very well prepared with a nice menu selection. The wine is outstanding as is the service. Has a European atmosphere. Cozy. One of the best restaurants in Warrenton.

“Wonderful,wonderful,wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2013

The Iron Bridge Winery in Warrenton VA stepped up to the plate on the evening of September 13 when another restaurant's incompitance caused us to find another venue at the last minute for 21 people on a friday evening. My husband & I were hosting a rehersal dinner for our son & daughter-in-law the night before their wedding. The Iron Bridge Winery could not have been more accommodating and being accross the street from the other restaurant made parking a breeze. All of the staff, including the kitchen & bar staff worked extremely hard to prepare & serve all 21 of us in a timely fashion. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. They took what could have been a disaster and made our evening superb. Thank you management & staff of The Iron Bridge Winery for our fabulous evening!

“nice dinner. a little costly. skip the desert”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

Enjoyed a quiet dinner for 2. Saturday night is Lobster night so we had the Lobster crepe starter (very good) and figs stuffed with goat cheese (great). My wife had the ribeye & fois gras special (well prepared - a little stingy on the fois gras) and I had the Chilean Sea Bass with saffron rice (excellent).
we enjoyed a couple of flights of wines which were nice and cost effective.

The deserts were very mediocre (chocolate cake and pound cake). Had we skipped desert it would have been a great dinner

“Trendy and delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

A great spot for a lovely dinner with a large wine selection. We enjoyed the Gouda fondue appetizer (which was both tasty and large), a steak entree and a mahi-mahi with crab sauce and polenta. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. For dessert we enjoyed the vanilla creme-brulee with a chocolate ganache bottom, which was completely scrumptious. I would really recommend checking this place out while in Warrenton. The staff is very friendly as well!

“Lots of activities.....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

....make the Iron Bridge a draw for people, even if the food can be hit or miss. They have a stream of weekly specials and reasons to stop in and eat or meet someone for drinks and an appetizer. You can sign up for their email blasts to stay abreast of what's happening. I especially enjoy the Thursday night wine tastings, featuring a different Virginia winery each week. They do mussels well and on Monday night they are all-you-can-eat. I like Iron Bridge for special occasions; don't miss their amazing chocolate-bottom Creme Brulee.
