Ok, here's my story. Me and a group of friends were on our senior trip to Virginia Beach. We were staying at the Days Inn. However, when we got there, we disovered our room wouldn't be ready until the next day. It was late at night and we spent hours looking for a place to stay just for the night, but no one would rent to 18 year olds. Finally, we discovered The Castle.
We were very excited about having a place to sleep. However, entering the room was difficult. You had to push on the door, unlike a normal door that you open with the knob. Upon entering the room, it was like entering a sauna, being hotter in there than outside. The beds were as hard as rocks, the tv didn't work, and there was a roach in the bathroom. It was something out of a horrible B-horror movie. The door didn't lock, and we had a password for when someone would come into the room, because we were that scared of the atmosphere. We had a suitcase and a chair keeping the door secure.
We went outside to smoke a cigarette before we went to bed, and a man was walking in a circle around the parking lot, staring at us on the 3rd floor. He asked us what we were smoking (obviously wanting to smoke something else..), and we threw him a cigarette because he was terrifying, and ran back in the room.
Somehow I fell asleep, waking up and feeling more disgusting than I've ever felt in my life. I'd suggest the Castle if you're looking to lose about 30 lbs in one night, or if you enjoy being approached by shady characters.
