The Atrium Resorts. I read the reviews and said no, it can't be bad. I received a one bedroom unit from a friend not using their timeshare. Upon arrival, I had to locate the clerk to check me in which took about 5 minutes. Located room after wating for a SLOW elevator (they have one). Entered room and noticed the furnishings are not only old, but very dirty. The stand in the bathroom was very chipped as was the stove. The chair and carpet needed a good cleaning. The faucet leaked, which I didnt find out until after my makeup bag was completely soaked, but placed a towel behind it each morning to avoid wetting entire floor.
Laundry room - 2 washers/1 dryer - dryer was broken the entire stay, and a note was finally put on it on the 4th day stating they were waiting for a part. Pretty dusty, but washers new and did the job.
Activities- what we did do on the activities offered thru the resort ended up being a total rip off. Wine tasting offering margaritas for $5 ended up being $12 a piece. Was refunded by the resort, but still a hassle to go 12 blocks in 98 degree heat.
TV's left a lot to be desired. Very small and cable snowy many times throughout the stay.
Have photos and will post after downloading.
Overall, I give the resort a 2, its older, not far from the beach, but leaves a lot to be desired. Definitely needs a makeover and bigger pool.
