The Good,
-This Hotel is very clean and well situated close to places you can get good food. It is only a few miles from downtown Norfolk, Williamsburg, Va Beach and Busch gardens. You can not miss it right off the highway. when we got there the lady at the front desk (her name was Jessica) was very friendly and welcoming. She got us our suite and called after 30 mins to make sure we were happy with our suite! Customer service is everything! Did i say that the rooms were nice, big, two TVs and the walls were thick enough that you could not hear the neighbors. Nice Gym, good security, nice locale far from downtown. Good clean beddings

The Not So Good:
a). the one thing that i noticed was that the vents in the bedroom area had dust on then.
b). There was a party going on in the hall downstairs with loud music which made it impossible to chill in the pull or the fitness center
c). The breakfast area was clean but the food was standard continental, but then again you get what you pay for.
d). The Cleaning ladies came and did a half job, so when we got back in the room i was surprised to see the door get opened and someone walk in!!!!! well she tried to apologize but she was already in....10 mins later she was done and BOOM!!! another bang on the door and another cleaning lady was in....creepy

Overall:
Nice Place and i would recommend it to anyone.

Very reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. What drew me to this was the price. I had stayed at the Winngate by Wyndham that's behind this hotel, in the past but their rates have increased so the Country Inn stood out for both price and location. Staff was polite and friendly. Would definately stay here again.

Just visited in November. Our room was hot and it said 72 degrees, so I turned down the heat. The air conditioner came on. I called and the guy at the front desk said that the thermostats were touchy, he would be right up. He turned it back up until it said heat. Then we turned it down a little, but not as much as we would have liked. All night, the air conditioner came on. I woke up with a sore throat. The breakfast was mediocre. The sausage biscuit gravy was in a corning well dish and cold. We were put in a room by the stairs and heard the door bang shut all night long. Worst night sleep in a long time. Never returning here.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for four nights and it was wonderful. It is clean, up to date, spacious and lots of amenities. There is a small gym area, an inside pool and a wonderful breakfast each morning that is available until 10 a.m. (major savings when feeding a family)! There was fresh fruit in the foyer area, cookies, and free sample items. The staff was wonderful (except for one man that didn't seem overly happy...but assisted with adding an additional night stay for us), from the front desk, to the janitorial staff to the gentleman wiping down the elevator...daily! They also have very strong WiFi signal which allowed us to use our laptop with no interruption. It was a wonderful experience and I will return! Highly recommended!
