This was our second time at this hotel. Both times were good but this time there seemed to be a few small problems. Before I go into the issues let me say the place was neat and clean, the people were friendly and helpful. The problems with the room were just a loose toilet seat and the tub drain were broken. When they were informed at the front desk I was told the problems couldnt be fixed over the weekend and I was offered to have my room changed. I declined, no major problems. It just makes you wish the people that occupied the room last informed the management of the problems. The hot breakfast was good, clean and the woman that took care of the room was a real nice person and hard worker to keep stocked. I would stay there again.

The Country Inn & Suites, Norfolk Airport South has been a pleasant stay for a week long vacation. Every staff member has been friendly and very willing to meet our needs. It's been one of the few hotels that has promised "free" wi-fi that the signal was stronger then my cell phone signal. The hotel also has a true hot breakfast with eggs, sausage and bacon. A very nice stay.

First stay at this hotel, and was pleasantly surprised at how clean the whole building was. Very friendly staff, quick check in and quicker check out. Fresh breakfast, great coffee, close to hiways and restaurants. Comfortable large room..suite with 2 tv's!
Price was right and will definitely stay here again!

Checked in at 11PM on September 30, 2011. First room I was assigned had a door that would not lock securely. The dead bolt would not throw all the way, it hit the door jamb. I told the front desk clerk who did not believe me and took me back up to the room like a child that could not operate a lock, when he tried it the same thing happened. He gave me a key card to another room after looking though files for what seemed like forever, he also appeared to be high on something. The key card he gave me did not work so I had to go back down and get another from him, The new card worked and when I entered the room and pulled back the covers there was a condom on the bed. It was new in the wrapper but still something I would prefer not to have in the bed.
