“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2009

We visited for our family to run in the WICKED 10K on Halloween. It was the first 10K for 4 out of the 5 of us. We were right on the boardwalk where the race was and overlooking the glorious beach. Weather was perfect. The suite was amazing and super clean. The staff friendly. It was a perfect experience all around. We will definitely stay here again next year!

This is a new hotel that opened in 2009. The rooms are very comfortable and every room has a view of the ocean. It is conveniently located on the south end of the boardwalk where it is quiet and less congested. Complimentary breakfast was nice and convenient but not alot of seating, however, it was easy to take back to the room. Great playground on the beach in front of hotel which our 3 year old loved! Pool is small but nice. I would definitely stay here again.

We checked in on the last day of the "Neptune Festival." We wanted a room higher up for a better view. We were on the fourth floor. They upgraded us to the tenth floor with two queen beds. We had a king room originally reserved. The next day the staff asked how things were and we told them a little cramped. They upgraded us again, yes again to a Suite. We still had two queens but More room. That was at no extra charge. The breakfast room and help was Outstanding. Abraham "Honest Abe" & Sam made our stay even more enjoyable. Sam who should be a comedian, filled in for the women who does the breakfast buffet and made us laugh all through breakfast. The buffet was outstanding and food always hot. We are staying there again next year.

The hotel was clean and in a really good location. The room was typical Hampton Inn style. The biggest complaint was the bathroom light switch was almost impossible to turn on. Neither my hubby or I could get it on the first try. The other downfall to the hotel was there are only 2 elevators and we would always have to wait for 2 or 3 groups to board and leave before we could use them.

The customer service was horrible, our room was not available at check in time. We had an infant and a toddler who were in desperate need of a hotel room and they offered no advice, but to wait in the lounge area for 90 minutes. The front desk employees were just nor friendly at all. I asked for a fridge and they would not reserve one until we were in our room and then it took 4 calls to get one. The housekeeping staff would leave their cart in front of the parking garage door for hours at a time while they were cleaning a floor, so you would have to get them to move it to get a stroller through the door. We left our DVD charger cord in the room and I have made 3 calls and no one has ever called me back to see if it was still there.

The hotel was very new. The parking garage is multi-level as are the oceanfront rooms. We were able to park less than 100 feet from our room and not have to go through the elevator if we went for a drive.

But who has time for driving when the cycling and walking boardwalk is just a few feet in front of the hotel and the wonderful sandy beach just a few feet further. Loved the continental breakfast buffet with a wide selection of food and drink and a trendy but cozy atmosphere.

Not far from us on the south end of the boardwalk there happened to be the East Coast Surfing Championship and skateboarding competition when we were there which added to the excitement. The hotel staff was very helpful with tips on what to do for the day.

For a short vacation, this hotel worked out to be a good value even though the daily rate was higher than inland.

I only stayed here one night, but I must say this motel was spotlessly clean and the staff was professional and courteous. The free breakfast was a full buffet with hot and cold choices. Housekeeping staff came promptly at 10 a.m. to clean the room and put in fresh towels. Very quiet location. No check in or check out problems or unexpected charges. There was plenty of parking space in the hotel garage. I would definately stay here again and I would recommend it to anyone else who was travelling to the area. Just a wonderful stay.

This hotel has a wonderful location on the beach. We were there during Neptune festival and the hotel was close to all the activitiy. Half a block to the sand sculptures and half a block to the festival arts and crafts. Walking distance to everything! The room was great. We had a suite on the 10th floor. Lots of room and a great view. We could watch the dolphins, the beach volleyball, and the surfing all at the same time. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the housekeeping. If they only could do something about the weather.
