We arrived in the afternoon, during a very bad rainstorm. Was very easy to find. Parking garage was right by check-in, so was able to go in and register without getting wet. We were assigned a room on the 10th floor. Beautiful views from the balcony. Room was very nice. Loved the indoor pool on the 8th floor as it was too cold to swim in the ocean. Nice pool area. Location was pretty good. Lots of little shops in the area and food vendors. Although at the time not all places were open for the season yet. Favorite part, sitting on balcony, drinking coffee in the am and treated to a show by the dolphins swimming 25 yards from shore!!! Adequate parking, clean roomsand a helpful staff made this a very nice mini vacation!!!

It's not good hotel for visit. I'm from Ukraine. My friends and I visit this hotel in November of 2012. Once in the evening we detect a thief of some personal goods from our room. Any of security cameras were not working. We can't prove manager of the hotel that his staffs are thieves. I don't want to take vengeance but I want to preserve anybody from appearing in such situation.

First of all this was the 4th year my husband and I stayed at the Dolphin Inn. This is not a 5 star resort but its also not a hole in the wall. The living room is large and has a beautiful view of the ocean. The balcony is nice and serves its purpose. The kitchenette is perfect for a quick breakfast and lunch but if you are looking to do some cooking you might want to check other options. Dinner is never a problem for us because we order in or go out and enjoy it. The bathroom has a large jetted tub that I love comming for. No it is not made out of modern day ceramic tile but it works. The bedroom is okay and the beds are not to bad for a couple of days. My only complaint is that they are full size and there are no rooms with queens or kings. The pool is very small and usually good for kids. It would nice if they put some tables and chairs on the balcony in front of the pool allowing people to look out into the strip. We have enjoyed our 4 years of "New Years" get-a-ways and it serves our purpose. If you are looking for the 5 star with all the bells and whistles then look away. If you are a person who wants and average place to shower, sleep and hang out with a seperate living area and you are not born with a silver spoon in your mouth then the Dolphinn Inn is the place. My husband and I are average everyday people who enjoy life and like having several weekend get-a-ways through out the year and we love the Dolphinn. Old, dingy and dirty.Everything needs to be redone! Needs new carpet, furniture, paint. The only thing I liked was that it was a nice oceanfront view. The furniture had seen better days. Very dingy and dirty. The bathroom wasnt very nice either. Jacuzzi tub is yuck. Its a suite barely larger than a standard hotel room. Was told in was inside corridors but they are outside. its just that they are back in a cubby hole in pairs. Terrible cold draft coming in under the door. The pool is very little. It is heated and inclosed but you have to go outside on the roof to get to it. May be ok in the summer but for the winter....its cold out there! You open the door to go in to the pool area and its so steamed up you cant see. You will only stay warm if you stay in the pool. And the cold condensation was dripping down off the ceiling. So it was not enjoyable. Kids of course dont mind at all. They close early at 8 during the winter which really was a bummer as that was the whole reason we brought our son here for new years eve..to swim. Most pools are open til 10 or 11. Not impressed and wont be back..next time I will head next door to the Boardwalk hotel. Another good point is that its a good location..walking distance to almost anything you could want.
