I'm a big Courtyard fan and this location is nice until you look close. My biggest issue is the bathroom safey. I fell because the bathmat slipped. I knocked my head hard enough to have to stay up half the night (wasn't going to the ER because I did not passout). Since I had been drinking earlier in the evening I did not report, but we were unable to do anything else while there because of the pain. A little TLC - stain pen for the headboard, hot water (without 5-7 minute wait), balconey door needs WD40.

Wait staff Wendy-EXCELLENT! They need more of her and she needs a raise.

My husband and I were looking for a nice friendly place to stay overnight for our 14th year Anniversary. The front desk staff welcomed us with big smiles and wonderful "Happy Anniversary" greetings the minute we walked in the door! The room was spotless and more than comfortable and we will definitely stay at this location next year! Thank you to the entire staff for making our special day/night a relaxing and enjoyable mini-vaca!

This Courtyard provides a great beachfront location at an affordable price. This location is right on the boardwalk and within easy walking distance to many fantastic activities. The staff is warm and welcoming, always willing to assist you with all of your vacation needs. This hotel is our first choice for our annual VB vacation.

We have stayed at the Marriott Courtyard South in Virginia Beach four times located at 25th street. The stay has always been very good. Rande at the front desk is one of the most personable people I have ever met. He is always extremely helpful and very friendly. All the rooms have recently been remodeled. Out last visit there was during the 2012 Neptune Festival held at the end of Sept thru Oct 1. They have a good breakfast buffet. I would recommend staying at the Marriott Courtyard South. We have stayed at the Marriott Courtyard North twice, but the Courtyard South is closer to the action. If you haven’t been to Virginia Beach it is a great place to go and enjoy yourself.
