This Holiday Inn was clean, quiet, comfortable, and every room has an oceanfront balcony. The hotel also has room service available. The rooms (including bathroom) are updated.
Our room had a refrigerator and coffee maker.
The service was wonderful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our remote control was missing. I called the front desk and they delivered another one within 5 minutes.
We had a very good group rate...I'm not sure how regular season rates compare to other hotels on the Oceanfront.
The location of this hotel is great...easy access to walking anywhere on the boardwalk and parallel streets for shops, restaurants, and clubs. Parking is very limited, though, so if you need to drive from the hotel, leave in the morning and return before check-in time in the afternoon so that you can park beside the hotel instead of in overflow parking. Plan to walk to restaurants and entertainment if you can in the evenings, traffic is terrible!

I work with Virginia Tech University and brought a group of students up this past weekend for a tour of the area, and the hotel exceeded their expectations and mine as well. From check-in to check-out, they were treated like they were the only ones there, down to the personalized breakfast vouchers, and this is while there were several soccer teams and a wedding going on! They're already asking about when they can go back! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

I travel up to 8 months a year and stay in the Virginia Beach area for half of that time. I have now stayed in several hotels and have settled upon this hotel. After several months between my last visit, I was cheerfully greeted by Onur at the front desk. He was apparently new to the hotel but provided service as if he had been working there forever! Later in the visit, I encountered Danielle at the Front Desk who remembered me from my last visit. She is very enthusiastic, pleasant and provided superb customer service. She's a great asset to the hotel and should be commended for her most outstanding customer service.

The staff sets this place apart from the other hotels!

We spent 2 nights during the Thanksgiving Holidays and had a wonderful stay at this Holiday Inn. The rooms are furnished with a refrigerator and coffee maker (although there was hot coffee in the lobby every morning-nice amenity). All of the rooms have balconys facing the ocean. We had a nice and quiet stay and rooms were super clean and nicely remodeled. Every single person at the front desk that we encountered was helpful, friendly, and super nice working hard on a long holiday weekend. Our son enjoyed the swimming pool as well.
