Motel is nice and clean. The only problem there was was a front desk person named Carrie she is rude with no people skills what-so ever. Went to office and asked to have router reset and got attitude then I asked for a cup of coffee and she acted like I had asked for a kidney. Im from a resort town if one of my desk clerks talked to a guest that way they would be gone. The rest of the staff I would rank 8-9 this female gets 2.

Ok the rooms are outdated, but fairly clean. No bug issues or anything of that nature. Just overall an outdated hotel. The staff is great and friendly, but spend the extra 10-20 bucks a night to get a room with a private balcony overlooking the pool. The other rooms are cheap, but nothing special. Great place if you dont spend a lot of time in your room. Priced cheap off season. I would not pay more then 100 bucks for a room in this hotel though. Pool is very nice, locations is great( about 4 blocks south of the main part of the strip). Right across from the ocean, just walk acrossed the street and you are there. Breakfast is great with a nice selection. However like i mentioned before if you are going to spend over 100 dollars, better to go with a beachside, oceanfront hotel.

Room Tip: pick the rooms with balconies overlooking the pool. Queen rooms or king rooms. dont go with twin si...

Hotel was mediocre. We stayed during labor day weekend for the VA Beach Half Marathon. The room was clean, somewhat updated but had an odd odor (smoking again). The walls are thin and you will hear the parties, etc that go on at night. Its close to the beach which was nice. Its one of those you get what you pay for kinds of things.

This hotel was dirty!!! The front desk staff were rude and unhelpful! The hotel over charged my credit card and refused to resolve the matter. I called several , the admitted they were wrong but no one would resolve the matter. I had to resort to contacting the coorporate office and go through a long process. Complete disaster from start to finish. I would never recommend this hotel. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere clean that does not steal your money! Also - I am pretty sure I saw bed bugs there!

Room Tip: stay at a different hotel!

My daughter & I were on a road trip from TX to NY (back to college for her) & spent our second night @ the Days Inn Virginia Beach Aug 2012. The Hotel staff was very friendly & allowed us to check in an hour early, which was nice. The room was clean & looked liked the pictures on the internet. The breakfast was continental, but had pancakes, french toast, cereal, oatmeal & a variety of rolls & breads. The pool area was nice with a life size chess game which is always fun. We had a balcony & a view of the beach which was across the street. There are many shops either way down the street from the hotel & restaurants very close as well. Either on Atlantic Ave or on the boardwalk overlooking the beach & ocean. I recommend to go a little early for dinner & sit outside & avoid the wait. There are bikes you can rent & a coupon you can get from the free booklet stands along the street. I would stay here again & hope you do as well. :)

Had room with two double beds.... small fridge microwave and stove with oven..half the burners didnt work on the stove ..room is supplied with pots and pans and dishes etc...but highly recomend bringing your own due to fact I really dont think they sanitize them...room was clean...continental breakfast was nice...had frozen bagels, waffles, pancakes, cereal assorted juices etc...limited seating was only downfall....pool was not heated like they claimed....was short walk to beach ...did not hear noise from other rooms...if you are looking for an average motel within walking distance to the beach..this would work...only thing that was frustrating was the fact they had me checked out before I turned keys in..so I told them they would have to reclean the room since we were still there and they had done it while we were shopping...
