I stayed one night from February 16-17, 2012. I got the American Girl package. Me, my husband and my 2 daughters stayed. The American Girl package only includes 1 AG bed....since I have 2 daughters I needed another bed. this was a suprise for both of my girls so I called 3 times to make sure that they would include another bed...they told me it is in the notes and I will be charged an additional $30 for the 2nd bed (which was fine by me) I called the morning before check in and talked to the front desk....he insured me that there will be 2 AG beds waiting for my girls when we get to the room. when i checked in I asked the guy and he told me yes there is 2 beds. so we get up to our room and there was only 1 bed!!! I wasn't happy....and to see the look on my older daughters face thinking she wasn't getting one wasn't good. I called and one was brought right up to my room. The lady said that in the afternoon someone comes to our room and leaves us a suprise.....after we got back from the AG store (about 8pm) there was a chocolate on the girls AG bed. so we got ready for bed and all 4 of us were extremely HOT. the room would not go any lower then 75 degrees. i called...the matance man said the rooms will only blow out hot air so its pretty much impossible for the room to cool off any. my family can't sleep if its hot, we usually keep our house at 67 at night. so at 10:30pm they had us switch rooms. the new room was 70 degrees and they gave us a fan. we just kept our of our stuff in the first room and just went to sleep in the 2nd room. i just don't understand how this hotel was just renovated about a year ago and they have such a cheap HVAC system. this is my first time staying at a hilton and probably my last. we stay at many hotels and i've never had this issue before. when i checked out i did tell the lady the problems....she gave me some credits on my stay but its still not going to make me want to stay at an Hilton again. The hotel was very nice, the room is nice...more on the smaller side, the bathroom nice and clean, the beds were very comfortable also, wifi is NOT free. about a 5 minute drive from the AG store.
