“Convenient”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2014

Very convenient. Good wifi. Good rooms. Friendly staff. They provide a free shuttle to the mall and to the nearby areas. Not fancy, but veryyy convenient. I would book there again, or any of the comfort inn series.

I stayed at this hotel twice in the last 2 weeks. The first stay was ok. When I arrived to check in, I was early so wasn't expecting to get in. When I came back to check in, I had to wait for the clerk to finish eating before she acknowledged me. It was pretty rude. The room was fine. The second time I stayed, the clerk was very nice and checked me quickly. The room was fine. There was trash on the floor by the safe. I did however not appreciate the housekeeper leaving her cart right in the walkway and left it. I was trying to find my room and had to move it to get around it. The toilet ran all night. I did forget to let the clerk know when I checked out.

Nobody would pretend that this is a luxury hotel, but it is a good place to stay. The management follows the rule book perfectly and ensures that everything is done properly. The rooms are quite large, standard chain hotel rooms, with pleasant furnishings and a comfortable bed, but - be warned - a noisy heat and a/c unit. The free breakfast is basic but good - and their coffee is excellent. There is plenty of parking. Perhaps the biggest advantage is the Silver Line metro at the end of the street, which whisks you into Washington DC in a matter of minutes. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby as well as great shopping.

We will return. It's a good place to stay if you need to be in Washington DC.

Room Tip: Choose a room facing away from the metro line and main road if possible.

This hotel was selected at short notice, mostly due to its price and location, and exceeded all expectations. The room was large, well appointed, clean, the beds large and comfortabe with the soap and toiletries first class.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. the continental breakfast includes one hot egg and one hot meat dish, hot waffles and as full selection of fruits, yogurts, juices, cereals etc. The coffee was excellent.

The hotel is less than five minutes walk from the hotel including a red light and is part of the DC metro system. A free shuttle service is provided to enable guests to go to the shops in the local area and a very helpful Enterprise hire car franchise is close by.

An excellent hotel for such a cheap price. You can take a complimentary newspaper and read it on the way to DC, after a nice breakfast.

Quick check in, easy parking. Twas a quiet night this Friday evening with an ensuing good nights sleep. The hotel is older with outside halls but was clean with pretty good beds. Breakfast was the standard hotel food with the addition of the waffles. Everything was kept stocked and the coffee was pretty good. A good sleep for a good price. Close to shopping if that is what you want to do.

We found the rooms clean and adequate. The clerk doing the check in was friendly and efficient.
Our rooms were on the third floor. When we got off the elevator the room numbers all started with the number 2. We tried the second floor and those numbers also started with the number 2.

We called the front desk for help in finding our rooms. The manager quickly came and took us to our rooms. The rooms were down another hallway with our room numbers.

Overall it was the best deal we could have gotten.

If you want to stay in the Tysons Corner area and not spend two arms and a leg on a fancy hotel, this is your place. The motel provides a shuttle service to any location in the immediate area, and if you wish to journey to other parts of Washington, a metro station is located just 1/10th of a mile away. Also for your added convenience, a restaurant and sandwich shop are in walking distance. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, even the air conditioner turns completely off when not cooling. Hot items were available for the complimentary breakfast, and they were actually hot. Any bad news? Well, the carpets were definitely in need of a good cleaning......

Room Tip: Inside units face an attractive courtyard.
