“Perfection an unexpected jewel in a major city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

Love Hilton properties and this one stands out. Close to everything in Washington, yet tucked away on a quiet little street. Easy access to the interstate for anyone travelling and close to one of the biggest shopping areas for the avid shopper. Price was exceptional! Parking dirt cheap! Spotless, well appointed room, friendly staff, nice restaurant and the location make this a highly recommend.

Recent stay was good. Room nice and clean, updated decor, central location to shopping, food. Restaurant breakfast buffet was great, as was the staff. Check in and out was very easy and fast.
Front desk staff, cleaning staff and restaurant staff was very friendly and efficient.

I recently stayed at the HGI in Tyson's Corner for a business trip. I am a Hilton Honors member and have stayed at numerous properties in their line including HGI but this was my first visit to this location. I showed up after 10 PM and my reserved King room was not available so I was compensated with free breakfast during my stay.

The room was rather spacious including a huge 42" flat screen TV that had many HD channels and excellent picture quality. There was ample space for clothing storage and a nice sized desk and comfy work chair. The bathroom was average with a granite counter and standard but nice setup with lotion, shampoo and conditioner. The shower was average for a tub style. Water was warm, but the head was low (I'm over 6ft) and the pressure was average at best. The heat control was sufficient if not a tad noisy on start up. The room was clean and a neutral smell.

I usually have a swim or visit the hot tub in the morning on most of my trips, but that was not an option as they had very limited weekday hours from 5-10P. The restaurant was very good for breakfast, but not sure I would have paid $12+tip had I not been comped. The bar was small, but had very good happy hour specials and the bartenders were very good.

Parking is only $5, but the garage is very tight, but had ample parking during my visit.

To sum up, this is a very nice hotel, but for the price paid (over $200 per night before tax) I think the breakfast and parking should have been included. The staff was very kind and I did enjoy my stay and would stay again.

Room Tip: The *24 rooms are at the end of the hall and very quiet.

The hotel was very accomadating, they provided extra pillows that were waiting for me when I arrived. The service was polite and friendly, the rooms very clean. One small problem was the parking garage where it was diffucult to leave due to a very narrow exit. Other then that awesome experience.

My wife has stayed at this hotel several times for extended stays. The hotel is across the street from one of her company’s office locations. Recently my wife, my daughter, and I spent a night there. My wife had to work and my daughter and I took advantage of the location. When here, you are not far from metro stations to get into D.C. and are just a few blocks from Tyson’s Corner Mall. This is the largest mall I have ever been to. The hotel is nice, accommodating, and located on a quiet side street that protects the traveler from street noise. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. Patrons can save money by parking on the street in front of the hotel. Not a bad place to stay.

Room Tip: Higher number rooms will keep you away from the elevator.

This hotel is very clean, quiet and comfortable. We have stayed here several times and it never disappoints us. It is very close to Tyson's corner mall. The breakfast is nice, especially when it is included in your room rate. The only negative is you have to hold your breathe when leaving the parking garage due to the narrow exit. Otherwise I would recommend staying here. We will definitely stay again!
