Description: Situated in one of the most coveted living and commercial areas in the US, this Art Deco-inspired roadhouse stands atop a bluff above the crossroads connecting Washington, DC and Northern Virginia. With four dining rooms, two kitchens and balconies overlooking live palm trees, Clyde's of Tysons Corner sets a new standard for Clyde's. From it's first day in operation, it has drawn a huge crowd of international and residential visitors including: business people and shoppers to nearby families and Wolf Trap audiences. With decor and furnishings that invite guests to dine amidst the glory days of Art Deco, the only thing that might top the varied and extensive menu is the elaborate and sophisticated atmosphere.

“Look at the paintings, love the food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

Nicely decorated gastro pub with really good food choices and decor. Service was good and the quality of the food was excellent. Only down side was having to take an elevator to the bathrooms (one member of our party didn't walk well) and figuring out how to get to the place from the ridiculous construction on Leesburg Pike. That has got to be hurting their business.

“Excellent Ambience, Average Food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2012

The place makes an excellent first impression but then goes downhill. Tasteful, elegant dining area and nicely attired waitstaff. Menu sports a large selection of foods - the wife and I had the Filet and Shrimp entree. She had the Crab Gaspacho soup to start, I had the Clam Chowder. Bottom line was that the food was relatively bland for our tastes. The high point in my meal was the mashed potatoes, which are made with a hint of horseradish which makes them quite tangy. The filets were tender enough, but bland and covered with a bland gravy. Probably won't go back to this one.

“Crab cake special”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2012

Clyde's has a special each Summer on crab cakes. This was it and the crab cakes were wonderful. Lots of lump crab with just enough else to barely hold the cake together.
