Description: Lebanese Taverna creates an environment where good food is enjoyed in good company. Each restaurant is a "home away from home," even though the food and ambiance are from across the globe. Whether you are visiting for the first time, the twentieth, or have been coming to a Lebanese Taverna for over 29 years, you will feel welcomed and like a member of the family. The atmosphere is bustling and each of the restaurants has its own design and slightly different flavors. That is because the food is made fresh, and each Chef has his or her own "touch" that keeps you coming back for more. We look forward to serving you again and again.

“Average food with a whopping cost”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

I have been to this restaurant 3 times over the past 2 years to truly give it a chance. However, the third time I vowed that it would be my last. The service was terrible it took the server 10 minutes just to bring the menu, their attitude was horrific and if we weren't with friends I would have left. The has always been average for me. They do offer a wide selection of choices however the taste is not always up to par, and I find it to be extremely overpriced. I personally would not recommend this restaurant.

“Great lebanese food, authentic and unique!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2012 via mobile

Had business dinner recently, the place was packed on weekday but service was good and got us sited quickly. It is pretty noisy but manageable and feels authentic. The humus and pita are great as well as unique salads, don't forget to try the lamb shawarma its preset good. Love the non sweetened Turkish coffee and baklava.

“The best Lebanese around”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

This local chain has been around for a long time. The site at Tysons Corner is one of the nicest, and best run. The food is great and the service is well above average.

“Food was good, but noisy and crowded”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

I was hoping for a more relaxed atmosphere, but the people at the next table were extremely noisy, service was poor, the servers seemed to be rushed off their feet. The server forgot my appetizer, but billed me for it anyway. I was so anxious to leave by this point I let it slide. Will not be back.

“Manufactured Food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

How disappointing - the food is clearly prepared well in advance and for the price, a real disappointment. Even the peta bread, although hot and freshly baked is basically tasteless like eating plain dough. Long ago the Lebanese Taverna restaurants were excellent. Clearly franchising or expanding has taken the taste out of Taverna.
