You are driving in the middle of no where and are directed to take teeny, tiny roads. You pull up to an area where there are parked cars, boats at the dock, picnic tables and you think what the heck. Grab a table, or wait in line, depending upon the season, the day of the week...and the time of day. Your server brings you the menu (changes daily) and you then realize you have found a little slice of heaven right here on Earth. The location is well off the beaten path (+), the scene is absolutely beautiful (+++++), the menu revolves around what is fresh and available (+++++) and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is always changing and innovative (+++++). I have been here in the fall, winter and summer and never been disappointed. Love, love, love this place for its history, its product and experience. I only hope it never changes too much...they keep making improvements that benefit all. They have a vision for those they serve and those that work for them. Way to go, well done! Makes me want to move down there right now! Funny note, I tried to get a review on TripAdvisor last fall and they could not find them....well, guess who is on the radar now!
