“Strasburg Virginia Ramada”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

I drive a Big Truck, 18 Wheeler and have always found parking and manuvering to big adequate enough to circle the whole facility with safety. The rooms are spacious and well kept. the Mexican Restuarant attached to the hotel prepares great meals, so for me it is not necessary to drive of to find a meal. Breakfast is more than adequate to start the day.
The staff is always friendly and polite.

My husband and I were traveling on his motorcycle, this was day one of a ten day trip. We were not out to be impressed, but of course wanted clean, comfortable rest at the end of a day of riding. We used the wifi with no issues, and the bathroom facilities were clean with good water pressure. We didn't have any noise issues and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

I have stayed at the particular Ramada Inn on a number occasions and have yet to have a bad experience. The staff is pleasant and helpful, rooms are clean, and the breakfast is great. The location is very good for the purposes of my visits. Plan on staying here on all future visits to the area.

Room Tip: Arrive early to get beautiful mountain views.

The hotel location was perfect. the hotel was clean and nice and apt for a 2 star hotel.
The hotel does not have their own swimming pool, but has passes for us to use the community indoor swimming pool across the street (6am - 9pm).
The mexican restaurant looked great, but we could not try it (closes at 9pm, pretty much the whole town closes by then).
We had asked for a room with the most firm bed and they had tested and reserved that for us, which was very good.
Housekeeping services were just okay, they did not disturb as we had the sign on the door, but did not try for a second attempt which we would have liked.
Wifi was available, but the connection (in our 3rd Floor room) was very low. If you are right next to elevator the ice maker makes a lot of noise, but with door closed we did not hear it.
Breakfast was simple but good. Coffee and Tea weren't that great. But, they had a waffle maker so you could make your own waffles which was a fun touch.
Overall a descent experience, no complains since it was a 2 star hotel and we did not expect any major frills.

Room Tip: 3rd Floor did not have strong Wifi.

Clean nice hotel, no frill but very good breakfast including eggs, ham, on-site waffle machine, yogurt and good choices of pastries and juice. Of course, coffee is included. Free WIFI. Not very fast but good enough. Swimming pool and gym are across the street in another huge building apparently by the same owner. The pool and gym are used by the community, not exclusively for hotel customers. Not too many places to go for dinner nearby. It is definitely worth the price of $73 for a night of transit. Scenery behind the hotel is beautiful, overlooking the valley.

GREAT STAFF! Nice room. We found the pool delightful, (No bad oder and very clean) Breakfast rocked for a 10 year old and the adults with him lol. Great Hotel to stay for us, close to the Summit Point Motorcycle Races, we will stay again. Can't beat free wfii either. Just a overall nice visit. (and when traveling with 2 dogs and a 10 year old granson, that says everything!!!)

Room Tip: We went to the desk for our extra pillows, as the pull out sleeper didn't have any so this might...

Located off I-81 in scenic northern VA, it is a great stop for travelers. Rooms and beds were very comfortable and quiet, rates were very affordable, bathrooms were clean and stocked, front desk staff was friendly and helpful but most of all, the free continental breakfast was by FAR the most extensive and best I've ever experienced. The breakfast would have cost $10 or more per person in a restaurant so I figure we saved at least $40 for the 4 of us!

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet and on the interior and they have elevators so you can't really go wrong in...
