We stayed one night traveling to Florida. The room was very good, nice toiletries, very comfortable bed. Next morning we had an excellent breakfast, not only the regular muffins, Danish, cereal, eggs, fruit, but also vegetables, cheese and deli.

I did not get to the hotel until 8pm and we left at 6am the next morning so I did not experience any of the amenities, including the free breakfast, offered by the hotel. I can only offer my experience of our room and the encountered service.

Check in was sweet and short. We asked for directions to Buffalo Wild Wings from the desk clerk and we were on our way. Our room had a large bathroom that had a large walk in shower. There was no shower door so it got a little chilly if you were not directly under the hot water stream. Also there was not a fan in the bathroom which for some apparent reason is an issue with most hotels as they do have them, but I cannot figure out why. The room had individual room temperature control which is really nice. When we got into the room at around 9pm and it was freezing so hubby put the temp on 82 degrees and we forgot about it until I woke up at around midnight sweating my butt off!! Once I lowered the temp to about 70 I slept like a baby until the alarm went off at 5am. The king size mattress was soft and the bedding just as soft with a nice down like comforter. The room also had a mini bar area with a mini fridge even though this was a bottom of the line room.

The first shuttle to Dulles was at 6am and left on time and took about 5 minutes to get there. The line thru security was short, (a Tuesday morning), and we were to our gate in no time. (Time from the hotel thru security to US Air overseas to the gate for our flight to Cancun took all but 30 minutes). Upon our arrival back to Dulles, after we go our luggage, we called for our shuttle back to the Hotel Sierra. They told us to go to the outdoor area of the airport..2H. If you are told to go to this area it is on the bottom floor of the airport where you get you luggage outside of door 6. Go to the center island once you go out the door and go right. The locations are identified in the center of the overhangs on the roof. The driver was there in less than 10 minutes. I did book the stay, park & fly package so parking was free for the 10 days we were gone and we did not stay upon our return to Dulles.

Just based on the short time I was there, we received excellent customer service and a comfortable room. Its not the best hotel I have stayed in but good none the less if you are using it for what it was designed for...an overnight stay before or after your flights.

For the price, the room was AMAZING. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable with lush pillows . The bathroom was also awesome (except the shower did not have a door). I only got to stay there one night but I wish I could have stayed longer. The living room and kitchen were stocked with anything you could ever need. Kitchen included dishes, silverware, cleaning supplies, etc. The complementary breakfast also had a delicious spread, including hot and cold foods. Car needed to go to restaurants and shops but highly reccommended if you are staying in the Chantilly area for business or pleasure.

The suites are lovely. The breakfast is nice and the front desk staff is very accommodating. My 1 gripe is since Hyatt took over I get the worst view, most recently overlooking the canopy for a 5 day stay. Other than that I enjoy the full kitchen and the overall design of the rooms. Looks very well thought out. Kudos to the housekeeping team there.
