“Definitely worth a try!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013 via mobile

This place is tucked away in a shopping center in Sterling in an old gas station. The spot is pretty cool, but VERY small and can get pretty busy. The burgers themselves are pretty good and flavorful, but they are overpriced in my opinion. The onion rings are good and the freestyle coke machine is really fun, but I think the new burger joint MELT in Leesburg is better in my opinion. They have some other pattie options likeA hi Tun or Veggie, if tthat's your thing. If you are a burger lover, this place is definitely worth the visit; just not as good as MELT, Rays Hell Burger, or even Big Buns in Arlington.

“When 'Specialty' is spelled O V E R P R I C E D.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2013 via mobile

In a world where almost every restaurant you step into has a version of a burger as a 'burger' restaurant you better offer unsurpassed product with a great value.

This is not the case when you have to pay extra for cheese (at a 'burger' joint). A burger and cheese go together like peanut butter and jelly. I shouldn't be told that the jelly is extra.

The burgers are average for the price you pay. The fries are overcooked...but if you pay extra you can add on some extras that will mask this.

There are no 'combos' everything is piecemeal - for two expect to spend 30 dollars.

If you want an average burger there are a lot of places to visit in Sterling that are at least better priced for the product.

“Not All That Great”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013 via mobile

I don't mind paying for quality, but I also don't like being taken advantage of. Why does everyone who opens a new restaurant think that they have the right to charge higher prices than what their product is actually worth? It just wasn't that great, and I won't go out of my way to eat there again.

“Do we really need another burger joint in the area? Actually, yes!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

Discovered BGR based on a friend’s Facebook posting. Glad I went to try it because it is one of the best burgers in the area. The burgers were just the right size, not colossal like MELT and not small and squished like Five Guys. And our burgers were cooked exactly right! The fries were excellent and overall atmosphere of the place was good. I ordered a regular Cheeseburger with caramelized onions; husband had the Wellington Burger (roasted mushrooms, caramelized onions and blue cheese... a bit rich tasting, but good). (see pictures). In addition to the usual suspects on the menu, they have sweet potatoes fries, grilled asparagus, a tuna burger and beer and wine. There have been a lot of burger places that have opened in the area lately (Five Guys, MELT, Tender Jacks, Burgerfi, Fosters Grill, etc.) but BGR is by far the better of all of them. Can’t wait to go back.

“Average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

We got the Wellington burger and sweet potato fries. Nothing to complain about. Burger was good, not greasy. Good, solid burger. We understand their french fries with rosemary, garlic and cheese are delicious, but we did not know that prior and tried their sweet potato fries instead. Again, good. The prices were a little steep for what you get. Atmosphere was good too.
