I have stayed here a few times, and the place is average, however, they charge premium prices. A room on a Friday or Saturday will run you about $125 with all taxes. On my most recent trip, I found hairs, and nasal discharge on the sheets of my bed. They did not belong to me. I found the two items stated above when I woke up in the morning, so it was really to late to get a new room ,or get new sheets. I felt really disgusted, for the fact that I laid in this filthy bed for over 8 hours without knowing it until the morning.
They were doing construction when I last visited, which closed down 1 of their 2 elevators. I literally had to wait 10 minutes to catch an elevator to the lobby. Almost every time I stay there they have baseball teams staying there, young and old. I guess there is some kind of tournament being played nearby. By the way, they can get rather loud. I suggest asking the front desk person for a room far away from them. They hog up all the breakfast too, so get there early.
The room is average size. It includes a microwave, tv, iron, and a desk area. I think there is wireless too. Breakfast is included every morning which includes a lot of great items. You won't be dissapointed with the breakfast.
There is this one African-American lady who works at night. She usually comes in around 9 or 10 p.m and works throughout the night. Her title is the "night auditor". I have encountered her many times on different stays. She is one of the most rudest, and meanest people I know. If you ask her something, she will talk down to you, or just give you really short answers, like yes or no. If you ask her for untensils, she slams them down on the counter, and gives you a dirty look. She never smiles, or greets you. I think she has some personal issues going on, because she is like this for the last 3-4 years I have been staying here. Anyways, the rest of the staff is extremely nice and helpful. They are always smiling.
As a summary, I really don't think this place is worth over $100. As a tip, stay away from the night auditor. Get all your questions, utensils, and whatever else taken care of before 9 or 10 p.m because that is what time she reports to work. She is a realy mean lady. I wouldn't recommend this place to a friend.
