“Small grassy park, that's all”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2015

There is a historical building that shares a depiction and perspective near civil war times. Each year they host a number of arge car shows, re-enactmants, and other speciality type events. Is very near Udvar Hazy center. Has mostly grounds to sit down and picnic lunch on, that's if you like being so close to heavily traveled and congested Route 28. Yes there is a few paths to follow and grounds to walk around on, but not really much else.

“nostalgic reminder of old loudoun county”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2014

i walked/ran/played a lot on this farm as a preteen/teen and it was good to see a small area preserved from the suburban sprawl of eastern loudoun... easy walks on well delineated trails with surprisingly abundant deer and woodchucks as well as birds and frogs and even a black racer... sadly the continuous roar of jet engines overhead landing at dulles mute much of the natural symphiny

“Claude Moore Park, Va.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2014

Claude Moore Park is a great rec center for swimming, working out, having birthday parties, and more. We have been going to Claude Moore for a few years now, very economical especially if you live in Loudoun County. I totally recommend it especially for families and fun.

“Good hiking trails close to hotel - short drive.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

About a dozen trail options, picnic tables, biking and running options. About a 5-minute drive from Hyatt Place. Nice to have this option so close. Big park.

“Always something new ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

Been coming here for almost two decades. The trails are well maintained and so are the facilities. Excellent educational houses. My nephews love this place. The water level is decreasing, but there is no shortage of wild life. Listening to the sound of frogs, watching geese, fishing, walking within feet of deer, owls, turtles and other critters is amazing. Go during each season and there is always something new; Like peacocks or a bridge. Trails range from about .25 to 5 miles and are mostly flat with small hills. Easy for kids. Good 4th of July celebrations here draw crowds; otherwise modest groups. Never had trouble finding parking. Next door is the recreation center. Across the street is Sportrock and car racing, so no shortage of fun here.
