Mokomandy is a great restaurant in an unlikely strip plaza. The restaurant offers a unique take on modern korean and cajun food. The restaurant has a variety of dishes that are great for sharing. Start off with the snacks and sides. Pick any 3 based on your preferences and you won't go wrong. Next, pick from the several dishes from the small and medium plates. Our favorites are the Korean Pot Roast Sliders, Bulgogi Beef and Modern Korean Sliders. Alternatively, pick one large plate and one medium plate for sharing. The Steak Frittes is excellent. Leave room for dessert as you will be pleasantly surprised.

One other item to note is the wonderful wine and beer selection. The selections is amazing and the waiters and bar staff are great at making recommendations.

Once you have tried MokoMandy, it will become one of your regular dining places.

Mokomandy offers Cajun Koren food, not fusion, but contemporary renderings of both cuisines, and the results are brilliant, mostly. Shared 7 plates, 6 were outstanding from the fois gras dumplings and wild boar bowl, to the modern Korean scallops and P.I. mussels. Service was great, selection of wines, beers, and cocktails will please the most persnickety imbiber, and the sous chef fell all over himself to make a bland dish more acceptable. Will definitely go back.

It was very chic. The food was great and the atmosphere transported you to feel like you were in a big city. Great place.

We really like Mokomandy. I like both Korean and Cajun cuisine, but was a bit leery of how they would meld, but the dishes work. We like sharing and tasting different things, so were happy to see four sizes of dishes, from "snack" through "large." We had one snack, two small and two medium, which was sufficient for two folks. There was nothing we didn't enjoy, but some dishes were notably good. I had to have the kimchee pancakes, which we both enjoyed. The Vegetable Saam -- lettuce wraps -- was an excellent small dish, and the medium sized Scallops on sweet potato was possibly the best scallop dish I've had -- the sauce was spicy, but too hot. I like my food hotter than my companion does, and used the house-made hot sauces, which are quite good. The bar made excellent beverages, as well. We found the prices to be quite nice, as well. We were plotting a return visit before we left the parking lot.
