“Great food, atmosphere, and service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

I tried this restaurant because it was recommended by friends. On a trip to Winchester, I looked for it on my GPS, & found it was only 10 min away. It was worth it! The food, the atmosphere, the service - excellent!
I ordered the Greek Pizza with the Maryland Crab soup. Both were scrumptious. The soup flavored with the crab meat, the vegetables - all blended together to make this a one of a kind. The Greek Pizza had a perfect crispy crust, & a blend of perfect flavors with the feta cheese. It reminded me of Italian restaurants in Fort Lauderdale. Yes, I will definitely return here to eat again!

“Great Minestrone soup”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

Visited Roma for the first in many years. The Minestrone soup was fantastic. You can tell this soup is freshly made in house not out of a can. Also had the chicken soulvaki. This was very good. The chicken was tender and juicy and the pita was fresh. You will not be disappointed with your dinner or lunch choices.

“Felt like I went to Italy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

The outside of the place was okay, but once you step through the doors it is another place. When you enter there is a greeting area with a bar all done well. They take you to your seat and while walking I noticed the decor was perfectly done, almost like Robert Irvine from Restaurant Impossible had been there. I ordered the crabmeat an mushroom pizza and my wife ordered the Greek pizza. Both pizza were cooked in their brick oven to perfection. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a reasonably priced meal. The only thing I would change is their pre dinner rolls, they need to serve them a little warmer so that the butter melts better, and or maybe bring some fresh ground pepper to the table for making a dipping sauce with the olive oil that is already at your table.

“Comfort food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

If you want down home cooking this is the place to go. The food is comfort food and all the people who live in the area know it. It's very reasonably priced and on our list when we are in the area.

“Good Greek!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

While traveling, we ended up here for a Friday lunch upon the strong recommendation of a local shopowner - and were glad we did. The menu is quite varied and the decor is fancier than expected just off the interstate. We stuck with Greek pita favorites and found them to be both generous and reasonably priced. My gyro was excellent, but my wife's falafel pita was a bit mushy with the falafels being a little undercooked. Service was "Southern friendly".
