“We have returned for our 9th year!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2009

Barry & Neil provide an ambient, relaxing, and welcoming experience at the Inn. We have stayed in several of the available rooms; have never been disappointed. The meals, breakfast and dinner, are truly a gourmet experience, served by cheerful and capable staff. The entire lovely experience keeps us coming back year after year. Klare & Dale

Although we are repeat visitors to Vaucluse, it is always a fresh and new experience. This past weekend we went with 4 other couples and found it a perfect place to gather. The Inn is big enough that a group of 10 can be there and not interfere with the other guests. The food this week was out of this world. Neil and Kelly use local produce/fruit to make up some delicious dishes. There is always plenty do to in the area, but his weekend we just went to the Farmer's Market and came back and spent a good part of the afternoon rocking on the porch enjoying the atmosphere and one another.

The Inn at Vaucluse Spring is a unique B&B with gourmet dining and with a wide variety of rooms from the grand old house on the top of a hill to the mill house to the old artist studio. Each room is beautifully decorated and very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the rocking chairs and the huge porch, watching the fire flies (lightening bugs), the bunnies hoping all around expansive lawns, the cows in the fields, as well as the elegant accommodations. The owners are friendly and highly skilled and the chef is tops. Each breakfast is a dining experience as well as the Friday Supper and Saturday Dinner.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Vaucluse Spring. The entire grounds are spectacular, serene and perfect for a quiet and romantic getaway from the city. Chef Kelly White if phenomenal, producing incredible meals both Friday and Saturday night. The ambiance is just what we were looking for, but the food and the hospitality is what really makes the weekend.

We will return, for sure. Barry & Neil have really created a gem in the foothills of Virginia.

Everything was perfect except there was not a full length mirror in our room. We were part of a wedding party and a mirror would have been nice.

The Inn at Vaucluse Springs has a remarkably beautiful and peaceful setting, estate-style grounds, very graciously & carefully appointed rooms (ours had a gas-fired fireplace and a very generous bath), totally attentive service & hospitality, and, for the Saturday night fixed menu gourmet dinner meal, a quite superb chef--our two breakfasts were hardly less gratifying. We've visited many fine mid-Atlantic Innkeeper's Register properties in the mid-Atlantic (VA, MD, PA)--this establishment belongs in the very first rank, on all counts. The staff is perfectly friendly yet quite discreet. We chose the Inn for our 45th wedding anniversary weekend, and our two nights there proved a genuinely pleasing success.
