Our room was upgraded; theater tickets were reserved; gardens are beautiful. The water lilies were blooming in the water garden. Homegrown flowers and herbs added to the presentation and flavor of the menu. The gourmet breakfast was the best we have ever had in B&B's. I will never forget the cranberry glass at the breakfast seating. The location is perfect for shopping, walking and attending church.

Ralph and Carolyn are extremely personable, traveled, and attentive.We arrived four hours early, and they adjusted their schedule to greet us. We have common interests: garage sales, flea markets, and antique stores. Our return trip up Route 11 was expanded due to their information about locations to shop. The two hour drive turned into a six hour drive; we have some major finds.

Will definetly plan to stay on our next theater trip.

This B&B was a delightful and unexpected surprise! We needed a mid-trip place to stop and chose Staunton because a dear friend was born in the area. The house is a treasure and the hosts are the best. You leave feeling like you made friends for life. There is nothing wanting here! Your hosts have gone out of their way making your stay a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We have traveled the world and rate this B&B the best! You truly get the feel of Virginia and as you sit in the garden area all your cares melt away. Just being on the property is a joy! Have many pictures I could forward.

Staunton Choral Gardens is a lovely 19th century home, beautifully decorated and maintained, located in the Historic District of Staunton. The B&B is only a few blocks from some really amazing restaurants, and it's a very short walk to the Blackfriar's Theater. Our room was comfortable with lots of little extras not provided in most similarly-priced hotels. And the innkeepers, Carolyn and Ralph, are the best! They are so friendly and helpful. Carolyn ordered theater tickets for us (at a substantial discount) before we arrived. She and Ralph helped us find our way around Staunton and recommended an outstanding restaurant based on our tastes, not theirs. Plus, the breakfasts were amazing: three-course gourmet meals served in high-style. We felt very welcome and very pampered. My husband and I live in California and had never been to Virginia. What an introduction!

My best friend and I stay in Staunton every spring for a spa weekend. This was the first year we stayed at the Choral Gardens and we would definitely go back. Carolyn and Ralph are just simply special people! They know how to run a bed and breakfast and they do it well! The 3 and 4 course breakfasts were out of this world and their knowledge of Staunton and the surrounding area is so very helpful. We stayed in the cottage house behind the inn and found it to be peaceful and accommodating. The ringing of the church bells was an added bonus. We would have liked to have had a bathtub in the cottage, but other than that our stay was just about perfect!!
