This was our second stay at Jordan Hollow Inn- our first visit was In February 2009 when there was snow. This time we had temperatures in the 80s. We stayed in the Upper Arbour View rooms on each occasion and we were dlighted with the cleanliness of the room. Despite the total contrast in weather, the room was perfect- piping-hot heating in the winter and air conditioning in the summer. The room had a jacuzzi bath built for two and we were welcomed with a bottle of champagne, There is also a jacuzzi hot-tub outside, discreetly screened, which can be used by guests to enjoy the sunshine. Wonderful!
The Jordan Hollow Inn is located in a peaceful valley and you cannot hear any road noise; its a wonderful escape from DC. We are returning to Jordan Hollow Inn in July and this time we have booked a cabin.

This past week was our fourth trip to JHI. We loved it there, and enjoyed the animals, people, ambiance, food, etc. So sadly, it has become "kind of corporate". No more animals, the food was just okay, the restaurant was good, including the workers there, but...not that great anymore. And we had loved it.

I travelled to the Jordan Hollow Inn with a group of 12 or so work colleagues for a two-day brainstorming session. The environment was not your normal business retreat - no formal meeting rooms etc. gave over the great room to our group and it worked out perfectly. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly and accomidating - often going out of their way to meet our needs. The food in the restaurant was good - overall an excellent experience. I would definitely return for a weekend away.

I have been staying at Jordon Hollow Inn since 1996 and I have seen many changes. Changes in rooms, services, staff and the restaurant, but even with these changes it has not changed my attitude or feeling about Jordon Hollow Inn. The Inn still is a pleasant and relaxing place to get away from the busy worries of the world. Jordon Hollow gives you a combination of an old farm house style (rocking chairs on covered porches, nightly fire pit sit down talks with neighbor's/guests, land to walk across and even farm house cats), but with comfortable up-dated rooms. (Flat Screen TVs, DVD/CD players, in room refrigerators, hair-dryers, and soaking tubs/ whirlpool tub). The restaurant offer a good variety of different foods, from vegetarian dishes to your basic meat and fish. If you like trying the old style dishes with a new flare, current chief is excellent. Just makes sure you leave room for desert. During my 3 day stay at Jordon Hollow Inn, I did have one small problem. A few selected dinner dishes no being available because it was Valentines Day weekend and there numerous guest for dinner. (my dinner reservation were after 8:30pm and I was one of the last guests for dinner) Other then the small dinner problem, my stay at Jordon Hollow was excellent. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. Even thou changes have occurred at Jordon Hollow Inn, the Inn is still one of my favorite places to have a special get away for the weekend.
