“No toilet paper in their public bathroom, gave us a room that was not cleaned yet”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

We only stayed here for one night and booked the room on tripadvisor. We booked a queen studio and when we got there, the girl told us there wasn't a queen available so we agreed to go for the king. Then after filling out the paperwork, she told us that the king was not available as well. She then proceeded to check us in to a double, gave us the room key. When we entered our room, it was a complete mess, meaning that housekeeping has not even touched it yet. Blanket was everywhere, dishes were still in the sink. She then gave us a new room after we informed her. Our new room included dirty towels and dirty bed sheet . At that point, we just settled with it because it was already 11 pm and we were just too tired to complain. The end.

The location worked well for me. However, the rooms are stinky, dirty and disgusting. The pillows are old and yellowing. You can actually smell someones odor on the pillows. The room i was given at check did not have a proper functioning door lock. I assumed like many hotels the door would shut closed/locked with out additional help. I was wrong. I had left my room open the whole time thinking it was closed. I had to use the deadbolt at night, even that was done by pushing hard on the door.
The front desk manager did not want to hear anything about the odor in the room, She actually rolled her eyes while i was talking. She also had a smirk on her face. Its seemed she had a chip on her shoulders. She was not at all concerned. She just did not care. Its a SHAME. Anybody worth their salt who is in charge needs to clean house!!!

From the friendly and courteous service I received from Cassandra at the front desk, to the spacious and accommodating room, to the tasty breakfast in the morning, Extended Stay in Springfield exceed my wildest expectations. And, because of Priceline, I got this fabulous room for only $49. Can you believe it?

NO maid service in room the entire visit. My son was forced to go to the desk just to get towels, & half the time was told they were "being washed". They wouldn't give him extras so he wouldn't have to go down & ask daily. No working phone, which they knew but never fixed. They lied about the full kitchen (there was no oven) knowing I was going to cook Christmas dinner for Navy people who couldn't get home. I had called directly and asked specifically about an oven prior to booking and was told "there is a full kitchen" in response. The person should have answered the question directly with a "no" but did not. There were no kitchen accessories in the room. They are provided free, which no one will tell you. I found out after I called and asked how much it was going to cost to rent them. They do NOT bring them to you; I had to get it from the front desk & carry all of the dishes, glasses, pans, etc. up to third floor. Staff did not help. The bedspread on one of the beds was full of burn holes, even though we were in a non-smoking room. There were only 2 luggage carts, which meant none were available at check-out.

We appreciate you bringing your experience to our attention. We strive to provide guests with all the comforts of home, so we are disappointed to hear that our hotel policies and procedures were not explained to you. In an effort to keep our rates low, we include housekeeping services for our guests staying 7 nights or more. We do offer additional housekeeping and refresh services for a minimal fee. We also strive to provide our guests with the cleanest kitchenware possible, so we store our items in a sterile environment and deliver them to your room upon request. We will work with our staff to ensure we are fully informing our guests of our policies and available amenities during check-in.

Thank you again for your feedback. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to provide you with a better experience the next time you're in the area.

Dirty, dark, just nasty...go somewhere else! The description said it was newly remodeled, but there was nothing new about this place. The rooms were old, cold, stinky, dark and dreary. There was hair all over the bed, proving that the linens hadn't been changed since the last visitor.

The Springfield Extended Stay is a blessing for the people that have to work away from home for days, weeks or months. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed, clean and well kept. Unlike some large chain hotels the maintainence is kept up, doors close, carpets are in good shape and clean, toilets and bath plumbing is reliable. One of the most valuable advantages is the kitchen, a major expense for travelers is dining out, even fast food is expensive in comparison. Full size refrigerator, two burner electric cook top, and microwave. Inquire for other accouterments.Plenty of outlets for your electric needs and free wifi-for a minor charge one can upgrade to higher speed. The staff have been helpful and friendly, from efficent check-in process to directions to stores for purchases and entertainment. Cassandra is a most personable and lends a caring attitude in the handling of guests. Working the evening shift she was able to placate the group of sevenI arrived with, with ease. Thanks to all who make our stays more paletable.

Room Tip: They are all good, but a corner room has two windows with different views, .
