Pros = Nice comforters, sheets, and beds. TV has 80+ channels. Newer a/c and heating units were quiet. Room was overall quiet despite tour groups staying there. Tons of shopping and restaurants nearby. Metro shuttle available.
Cons = In both rooms the furniture was well worn. In one room the shower caulking was visibly moldy and there was severe water damage on the ceiling and the bathroom door was cracked and rotting. There was also a very questionable visible stain on one of the lounge chairs in the room. Be careful of Springfield Mall - most of the area around it is okay but I would not go to the mall by myself, or at night at all. Desk clerk at check in and check out seemed indifferent. I did not see a manager's reception at night.
Bottom line = for $150/night this hotel is very quiet and clean but can use some more thorough cleaning of the rooms, and some better upkeep.
