“Wonderful Easy Trail, Great Kayak Launch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013

The Windsor Castle Park has an easy scenic trail of about 4 miles, easy walking access to Historic Smithfield, views of the Pagan River, ample parking, overall wonderful spot for a nice walk. The park also has a dog park and another small parking area adjacent to a perfect kayak/canoe launch. It's the type where you sit in your kayak on rollers and launch yourself gently in or out of the river.....couldn't be better. The trail appears to get plenty of use by families, dog walkers, trail runners, people out for a nice stroll. Lots of signs with trail maps but trail is basically a couple of loops so if you keep walking you'll end up where you started. If you are in the area, stop in for an enjoyable walk or paddle.

“Walk in the Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

Very lovely and large park with a crushed gravel path for runners and walkers that is 3 miles around. A "to be renovated" farm house with many cotton fields in the middle of the park.

“The perfect place to launch your kayak!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012

They have the best launch we've ever seen. It's new and clean and has the roller launch so you can get your kayak or canoe in the water easily even if going out alone. The area is beautiful and the water clean. You MUST try it!
