I had eagerly looked forward to my visit to the Courtyard in Sandston. My reservation agent advised me all the rooms were the same size and I had read reviews that the rooms were large. However the room we were assigned was very small especially for three adults. I observed there were larger rooms but by the time we further inquired there were none left. We decided to make the best of the situation but the room wouldn't cool off. The general manager, who took a look after the second complaint, left a message on the phone that we had "too many items" in the room for the room to cool. After the third complaint it was explained to us that the air condition units are efficiency units and put out a limited amount of BTU's and therefore would not get any cooler. Otherwise, housekeeping did not change our sheets even when obviously necessary. (No sign was present to ask for sheets to be changed). The pool is small. What did I like? The hot tub was nice, hot and bubbly when we used it. The lobby is pretty. I would not stay here again however. I expected more in customer service and besides there are too many choices in Richmond.
