The staff was friendly. plenty of parking. I was put in a smoking room without even asked if I wanted one or not may have been because of a big party going on that the owner was throwing idk but pretty sure. Also they have cameras on everyone one of the parking areas except for the back lot and that's where I had my work truck parked and of course I had it broken into and around $500 worth of stuff stolen. When I ask one of the staff members if they had cameras there she said no and I told her what happen she just said that has to suck WoW

The lobby of the hotel was pristeen. The sign said all rooms were recently
remodeled. We were sent around to the back door to enter. When we came in the hallway, the odor was terrible. The ceiling blocks are a mess. The room was filthy. The sliding doors and glass on the table and picture frames were filthy. There was a penny, dust, and bits of torn candy wrappers on the floor behind the night table from the previous guests. The bathroom counter had cigarette burns all over and hadn't been cleaned in who knows when. There were two hairs on the bed near the pillow that did not belong to us. We slept in our clothes, and at 5:30 am, got up and left. We could not take the odor in the room. We did not stay for their continental breakfast, as we would not have had food or even coffee in that building. When we left, we had to run the hallway to the exit because the odor was so bad that we nearly vomited. There was a little container of Glade air freshener on top of the fire extinguisher in the hallway, so it's not like they weren't aware of it. It was clearly deception to have the lobby appear so clean and well done and the sign suggest that it had all been renovated, then send your guests to such a bad room. For the first time ever, I did not leave a tip for housekeeping, since there was no housekeeping done in the room. At first, we were going to go and get our money back and not take the room. We had traveled all day from Miami, and it was lashing rain. We were exhausted, so we thought we would try to manage it rather then try to find a room in the pouring rain. This is the first really bad review I have ever given to anyone, but it is accurate.

Hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. Doors needed to be planed, had to wedge or force some of them open. Breakfast was not very good, biscuits tasted like they were days old. Service was friendly and good.

We were traveling north and needed a room for the night. The front desk clerk honored the travel coupon and made our reservation quickly. Upon arrival we were encouraged by how things looked. Parking lot was well lit. No smell upon entering the hotel. Lobby was well lit. Counter looked nice. We were checked in with no problem and went to our room. Everything good so far. Bed slept great, linens were of good quality. Bathroom was just fine. Room was clean, well lit, all lights worked, in room coffee, good tv. Nice and quiet - good nights sleep. On to the breakfast bar - very well stocked, good variety of items, plenty of places to sit, lots of coffee. Still doing well. Went back to the room to get our stuff and my husband spots something crawling on the bed - is it a tick? Is it a bed bug? Who knows! My husband goes to the front desk to report the problem, and a housekeeping lady comes right away. We help her capture the unknown bug in a coffee cup. She indicates that the hotel is newly renovated and that she's going to report this to her supervisor. Now it's time to check out. The same housekeeper is at the front desk along with another clerk (maybe the manager?) who believes the creepy crawler is a tick. May be it is - I don't know! They promise that they'll have it checked out and that they'll call us back. It's been 3 days and still no call. Maybe the thing was a tick - I hope so. Look, this is a perfectly ok place to over night, but I admit that the creepy crawler turned me off. Would have been nice if they'd of offered us a further discount, or even comp'd the room, but at the least, they should have called us back like they said they would. Buyer beware!

We wanted you to know that we left a message on the phone number you had provided that the room was not found to have any bedbugs by our Pest Control specialist. We saved the cup to show him and he said it is definitely a tick! We have a paper documented by Pest Control Company we can attach to an email as well. Thank you so much for your review!

This was our first visit to the area and we were delighted to stay at the new Baymont Inn & Suites. Everything was top quality from the plush towels to the list of nearby restaurants. The breakfast was plentiful and the room large and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable, the room sparkling clean. I definitely rate this hotel at the top of the charts.

Room Tip: All rooms seem good with glass sliding doors allowing access to the back which faces a green area.

They are trying to improve by painting and replacing items in rooms. It is mostly clean but bathrooms still need some work. Our toilet seat needed replacing desperately and front desk told me on checking out they would check into it. The hot water was touch and go with little pressure. The meat on the breakfast bar is coming soon according to desk. The beds are comfortable. The staff friendly.
