Nice welcome, nice waitress and a good looking menu. Ordered an appetizer and meal and sat back to enjoy the evening in the outside eating area. The appetizer arrived quickly enough followed not too very long by the salad. Then nothing. Four tables were seated after us, enjoyed their appetizers and main courses paid and left before we were served our dinner. At one point the owner/manager came over and apologized and said, "dessert is on me, don't worry I'll take care of you." She stopped by again before the bill arrived and said,"it's not like the kitchen has a table they pick on!" (said with big smiles). We walked out with a two and a half hour Friday evening dinner, one piece of carrot cake, an insincere apology and a fully charged bill. No deductions. WILL NEVER GO BACK.

As a small business owner, it is my wish that our customers come in to Veranda Bistro to have an overall excellent dining experience. Unfortunately, sometimes we as well make a mistake, as was the case here. I came first to apologize for the extended wait on your food and a second time to make sure the food was to your satisfaction. I as well told you dessert was on the house and in addition we deducted 20% off your entire bill. I am sorry that you did not notice the discount.
