I like the small, cozy, grubby hole-in-the-wall vibe. This is the kind of atmosphere I like in a restaurant. Unfortunately, the food does not hold up its end of the bargain.
The burgers are relatively small on a cold bun with cold cheese and very basic condiments and dressing. It is a burger that you would expect to find at a fairly uncreative cook out.
The chili is very bland. If you like spice and heat, you will find this chili extremely disappointing. It lacks flavor and character.
It is very disappointing when a local "landmark" restaurant serves lower quality food than most fast food restaurants. At least the prices are cheap.
