“A mideast gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2014

What an unexpected find in Roanoke ... Lebanese food. It was rated #1 on Trip Advisor so I figured I would treat myself after a long hike on the Appalachian trail. The #1 rating is well worth it. The food was excellent with large portions. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful in explaining the menu to someone who has never eaten Lebanese before. The server recommended the Halib kehbob and an A+ for that. The only thing is that it is hard to see from the street but well worth the time.

“Nice lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2014

We had lunch there on a weekday. We arrived at about 12 noon. It was already busy. Keep in mind that this is a small restaurant. From our arrival it seemed that there was only one waitperson on duty. The service while good enough was clearly stretched to the max. The food took a bit longer than expected to arrive. That being said, we had some wonderful food there. The appetizer platter was quite good. We also had the grape leaves and a chicken wrap. Well presented and delicious. The variety was very nice.
The food there is really good but there may be some staffing problems. That aside, we enjoyed our meal there. Recommended.

“authentic lebanese home cooking, hip little, fun place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2014

During our recent trip to Roanoke, we happily came across this little gem of a true down home cookin' Lebanese Rest and left with a nice memory and full bellies to boot. The adorable server, Tara, was both informative and fun; an ambitious young lady that her boss should be proud to employ. The owner and cook, a lovely woman, has only operated this establishment for 1 yr, but you'd never know it by the beautiful, delicious dishes she prepares with all the professionalism of a cook that's done this her whole life. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will def return whenwe next visit Roanoke

“Don't let size of restaurant fool you!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2014

We decided to try this restaurant for dinner after walking past it earlier in the day and hearing from a customer how wonderful the food is. Well, we did return and it's not only the food that is sooo good but the owners and the waitstaff are available to ask about any of the delectible choices on the menu and to recommend accordingly. We had never tried lebanese cooking before so opted for some sampling of the grape leaves, meat sambousek and shish taouk platter. We kept asking about ingredients as the flavors are some of the best we've tasted in our extensive travels and this place in in our home town! The owners are the nicest people and explained about striving for the relaxing family atmosphere and food cooked like it would be served in your own home. Did they ever hit it all right! We felt as if we were sitting in a Tuscan home, eatting a homemade meal. If you are in the Roanoke area, please visit this restaurant and be sure to meet the owners as they have us hooked! I also want to mention that the restaurant and bathrooms are spotless! Thank you!!
