“Science Museum at Tanglewood Mall, Roanoke Va”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012

This is suppose to be a temporary place in the Mall. We had a lot of fun and the folks there were so nice, friendly and helpful. it was a slow day for them and i really liked that we could go back into the Mall and shop and come back later at no charge. and the fee to get in was very reasonable anyway. it was a fun thing to do with my Granddaughter whi was visiting form out of town.

“Not as good as it used to be.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2012

When it was downtown it was pretty nice. Now in Tanglewood mall it's too small and not really worth the high admission price. Since they have less than half of what they used to have, the price should be less also. Will not go back till it moves back downtown.

“The kids LOVE it!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2010

I am a huge fan of this museum, and must encourage everyone to bring their families in. Kids get such a charge out of the exhibits, and my daughter loves it as much at 9 as she did at 6! The exhibits are aging, but everything was working when we visited. There are two new interactive exhibits, "Big Mouth" and "Explore Virginia's Nightlife". The previous review remarked on the Flight Simulator; that is no longer on display. The new MegaDome movie, "Dinosaurs Alive!" was very good. We have attended several Free Friday events, and during the summer these days were packed--the kids all get so excited...I highly recommend a visit!
