“Christmas dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2013

Our family had a family dinner earlier in the day but wanted something different late Christmas day.My brother suggested this restaurant as they eat there frequently. We were happy to find it open and filled with other diners. My husband and I are particularly fond of hot/sour shop and it was great. The food was fresh and delicious and the servers were quick to refill our water glasses. It was a relaxing meal at the end of a busy day.

“I wish we live closer!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

It is not the best Asian food I have eaten, or the best sushi, or Mongolian BBQ, but everything is good. And the selection is unbelievable!! A Mongolian BBQ station, sushi station, table for both hand dipped and soft serve ice cream, a table of fruit, another table of desserts. THEN about six or seven other tables of different foods!! Very impressive and a good place to try different things. Peel and eat shrimp, frog legs, crawfish, stuffed mushroom, clams, mussels, calamari, pot roast, a dozen different Chinese dishes with several different noodle and rice choices. And plenty of things my kids liked too, pigs-in-a-blanket, chicken wings, cheese steak calzone, lots of fresh fruit.... Did I mention the hand dipped ice cream!!
Like I mentioned nothing was outstanding, but it was good, and for under $10/adult it was awesome!!

“Once a great buffet, now mostly syrupy fried chicken”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

I work in an office near Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet, and have eaten there probably 25 times during the last two years since it opened. I have especially enjoyed the hibachi grill, but the sushi and Asian dishes have always been anywhere from average to very good. Overall, it was a GREAT value for a $7.95 lunch buffet.

I met my family at Hibachi Grill today for lunch. They have recently changed their food in several ways that are not good. The sushi rolls all had either imitation crab meat, tofu or cucumber -and it was not so great. They apparently stopped making sushi rolls with ahi tuna like they always had before. They also used to include eel and salmon rolls... those are gone.

The hot buffet food was terrible. Their recipes have changed – everything now tastes SYRUPY SWEET. Between my wife and I, we tried about 8 different Asian dishes. The beef dishes (such as Beef and Broccoli, Szechuan Beef) which they once had are GONE and instead replaced with cheaper alternatives. Is this because beef prices are now at an all-time high? They also replaced most of the grilled chicken dishes (such as Kung Pao Chicken) with fried/breaded chicken dishes that are sweet and gooey. Most have more breading than chicken.

There were several dishes that I used to eat which were replaced with alternative dishes made from cheaper ingredients. For example, they replaced the fried scallops with fried potatoes. I noticed several examples of this today.

Hibachi Grill, you have lost a loyal customer today. If you continue to stock your buffet with dishes made from cheapest ingredients available, and add ridiculous amounts of extra sugar to them, I am sure you will lose many more customers. If food costs have increased, why not raise the price of your lunch buffet to $8.95 and see if customers will pay a dollar more? The cheap substitutes you have made will not work. People will not return to eat cheap syrupy food.

“Very good food, HUGE selection! Priced Right!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

If you are looking for a huge selection of Chinese and American food, from crawdads and prime rib to beef and broccoli, come to this place. The price is lower than surrounding Chinese buffets and the food is always very hot (or properly chilled), fresh and constantly restocked. The hot and sour soup (my personal favorite at any Chinese restaurant) is top notch! The restaurant is spacious with nice decor and the staff are friendly and professional. I come here several times a month or more and it's consistently good.
