“A Labor of Love”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

The Inn on Campbell is a delightful B & B in Roanoke, VA located in the hustle and bustle of the city center of this quaint town. However, once you enter the inn and the door closes behind you, you are immediately immersed in its elegance and charm. It is no doubt that creating this B & B was a true labor of love for Keith and Cindy. They have put their hearts into making the Inn on Campbell a rare and one of kind establishment, down to its tasteful and exquisite decorating, luxurious bedding and scrumptious candlelit breakfasts. We really enjoyed the elegant wine and cheese hour and that paired with lively conversation and lots of laughter made for a more than memorable stay.

We chose the Inn on Campbell for the night of our wedding and we couldn't have picked a better place to start our new lives together. Cindy and Keith allowed us to check in a little early so we could use the suite to get ready. It was the perfect place to relax and spend some time with my bridesmaids as we prepared for the big day. The suite we stayed in was Immaculate, so beautifully decorated and restored and extremely spacious. After the wedding my husband and I returned to the beautiful inn and woke to an amazing breakfast and great conversation with Cindy and Keith. It was a wonderful experience, we look forward to sharing many more memories upon returning to the Inn on Campbell.

Room Tip: The Palladium Suite is perfect for a romantic stay!

I've stayed at the Inn on Campbell twice now. Each time was the best overnight stay I've had anywhere. You get there and Keith and Cindy greet you with a bottle of wine and some light pre-dinner fare. The accommodations are impeccable. Haven't slept better anywhere before or since in recent memory. Breakfast is great. I feel like I need to come up with something mildly critical just for the sake of balance in the review, but it's tough to say. I'd recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

My husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary at The Inn on Cambell. I cannot say one negative thing! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left everything was taken care of for us! Great suggestions for dinner and entertainment as well as a delicious breakfast each morning with great conversation from Cindy and Keith. It was a wonderful experience for us!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Campbell Suite and it was immaculate. We also toured the other rooms and they were...

We had a wonderfully comfortable and pleasant stay at the Inn whilst on a tour of the US. Keith and Cindy were fabulous hosts, really welcoming and helpful, making table bookings for us and making us feel at home. The Inn was beautifully furnished with a high level of quality and taste and the bedrooms were absolutely gorgeous. A lot of careful thinking and planning had gone into the whole enterprise. The cheese and wine welcome was great and we were even invited to join in on our second night there. Lovely place and lovely people.

Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely regardless of having the bridal suite or a double bedroom.

We took the whole Inn for a night on a motorcycle trip with friends, and it could not have been better. We arrived dripping wet on a grey, windy day, and Cindy and Keith had a lovely cheese platter waiting with wine, and also went above and beyond to let us use their dryer! They sent us off the next day cleaned up, dried out and fortified by a delicious breakfast. They are delightful hosts, and the Inn is beautifully done. This is a really lovely place, and we highly recommend it.

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at The Inn on Campbell. Keith is an excellent host (we did not get to meet Cindy). We arrived in time for "wine and cheese therapy" and really enjoyed talking with Keith and other guests. Keith recommended Table 50 for dinner and we had an excellent meal and great service there. The Inn on Campbell is full of special touches that made our stay really delightful. The rooms are lovely with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed the location within walking distance to the restaurant and an art show on Saturday. It was a lovely experience and we will definitely go back!
